  1. Around the $40K mark. Japlink reckon the only R32 they have seen in better condition was at the Nissan museum.
  2. Let me know if you end up with just the dumps as I already have an exhaust.
  3. Agreed. Black looks awesome when its well cared for and 100% clean. As soon as it rains or even gets dusty then its downhill from there. I was very happy to get metallic grey.
  4. Hi, Prices do vary but the really nice ones cost a fair bit more. V Spec's appear to command around $10K more than a GT-R in similar condition/kms. Here's one that went through recently; http://prestigemotorsport.com.au/stock/show_car.php?id=875 Mine was more than this due to the lower kms and better interior. The one above has a couple of mods, turbo timer, exhaust etc which I was hoping to avoid. Good luck and let us know how you get on. ]
  5. Hey guys Looking at exhaust options for an R32 GTR. Currently considering HKS dump pipes, Nismo (or similar) front pipe and Fujitsubo cat back. What are the HKS dumps like? Had one on a 200sx years ago and it made a huge difference to the response. Also, most parts say they suit both standard dumps/ cats etc. Can I go with a mix of parts like I'm thinking and have them all bolt straight up. Once found out the hard way that a cat back exhaust for a WRX needed to be cut. Lastly, even though everyone says it I won't be performing any other mods so absolute power isn't critical, response is. Cheers
  6. That steering wheel cover appears V Spec to me
  7. No it's got the original GTR 3 spoke one. And my favourite feature of all, CD head unit and stacker in the boot that appear to be factory or dealer installed. The head unit is the same as an R33's.
  8. That'd be it. Chef bought it for me a couple of months back. Just waiting on that all important comp plate. Car is based in NSW unfortunately. Hope to have it out at a drive sometime this year.
  9. In my dealing with Shannon's they insure it for whatever you paid for it. I've got a V Spec II insured for $40,000 with them. If it is in really good condition you can take it to them to be assessed and discuss increasing the agrees value.
  10. Don't forget compliance, roughly $2500-3000
  11. Just make sure the one on J Spec is still available. Cars I saw on their dealer pages were old 2 months ago and are still listed now even though they are no longer available. Good luck
  12. Chef, is there any way you could get me a radioactive vehicle? I was thinking that if we could get it out of Japan and into Aus I could then sit in it and get bitten by a spider. Boom, Super Powers!
  13. Bought some Michelin Pilot Sport 3's today from Jax while they were on special. Once again 245's would have been around $100 more each. Now all I have to do is win the trip to Le Mans they are giving away.
  14. I think around $60K would be a decent price. The ADM are very limited but with a virtually brand new R32 GTR (2500km) 4 mill in Japan or even the one at the toy shop for $50K, I think $85K is pretty pricey. Still, if someone wants it and is willing to pay... I was very close to buying an ADM for $46K with 81K kms. In the end I got a V Spec II for less and 34K kms.
  15. Bob, id love to hear more about why the ADM is different to drive. Is it that it has lower kms or does the JDM one have mods? I would have thought that the driving experience would be the same as most changes were purely cosmetic or to meet the ADRs.
  16. Check out the feedback, it says its a scam account!
  17. Mine will be here next week so I'll keep you posted. Broker hasn't mentioned any delays so I'm hoping around 3 weeks as above.
  18. Having a look online and spotted this beauty; http://www.best-r.com/create/gallery.php?&id=220 Low kms FSH S Tune Engine!
  19. I'm guessing that if it was a V Spec 2 it would be up towards 5 mill.
  20. Was working earlier but is going to auction today. Result should be available tomorrow I'm guessing.
  21. Was having a look around J Spec and saw this one coming up tomorrow; http://www.j-spec.com.au/auction/1999-NISSAN-SKYLINE-3858915.html Unfortunately no pics at the moment. I'm guessing this is a few peoples dream car/spec. Will be interesting to see how much it ends up going for.
  22. Did anyone get to the bottom of this? Would love to know what it was, especially as it sold.
  23. 235s it is. The 245s aren't on special so I'm guessing they cost the dealers more. I doubt the 245s would ever be reduced much as most people have said they are a pretty rare size.
