  1. That would be a not very reputable dealer here in Sydney. Seeing as though they are reported to have sold an unroadworthy S15 and provide documents that have been manipulated I wouldn't trust their warranty. Definitely not a Nissan warranty.
  2. Hi All, Just saw that Bridgestone have the Potenza RE002 on sale for $205 each in 235/45/17. As I'm getting a V SPec II they originally come with a 245/45/17. The original size is considerably more expensive ($299). Should I save myself some $$$ or stick with the original size? Thanks
  3. All R32s are except for the 100 ADM GTRs they sold from 91-93. It would take weeks to cover every model, google is your friend. Oh yeah, don't know of any 98 model R32s. Maybe when it was complied?
  4. Interestingly I just saw on carsales that The Toy Shop are trying to get $50K for a 1990 GTR. Sure it's only done 10,000 kms but that is serious coin.
  5. I was considering a ADM recently and it was $46,000 with 81,000kms. I don't think $70,000 would be unreasonable for one in such good condition/low kms. How much is Mark Skaife's ownership worth? Who knows......... There is one (referred to in other posts and below) with approx 2500kms in Japan. I considered the white one they also have for sale till I realised it wasn't a V Spec. http://is-group.jp/skyline/011535.html
  6. I think everyone's opinion is important, so here is the translation (google's, not mine) of the above; "To achieve profit growth Leafs pay well under the whistle Groth Between Species Lay Protest Media Pass II disapproval Tie Color Vision III Many educated Fill chamber Mall Pub Mount and chat Carrots and Mixed Event Monitor II Pleasure Turn adhesive barrier and sharp personality Rounding Jack West Wrong Person Shave Suck intellegent Forest Health Movement Pleasure Ball II presents advertising for businesses Federal retirement Annoyed customer Charge pregnant Polish Power Irritating Bear And Gift Buying Individual Sheet Harbour II flow Unit scissors River Historical Military Costume Strain remember flying Offer recording Arts Deftly Universe Aunt Lead Inquiry Nice way to Friendship enthusiastic driver Advertising Cold Diet analysis Environment Landscape singer dot Taxi normal organ Internet."
  7. R32 in near new condition already are quite collectible in Japan. I think the same will happen here but to a lesser degree. I see them as similar to the e30 M3, Sierra RS500, etc as they are all Group A homologation cars.
  8. Hi Guys V Spec II Chassis number: BNR32 311842 Just got my mine through Iron Chef. Car currently has 34,000km and is 100% stock except for Nismo pipes coming off the turbo. Hopefully the car will be here and on the road in around 2 months.
  9. Anyone got a contact number for Greg at Unique?
  10. Agree with above. Sure, if it was a pod or loud exhaust no ones going to get hurt. Something like tyres is bloody dangerous. I wish they looked at them for all cars and not just imports modded cars etc. Joe Blog who can't even check a tyre is just as dangerous but will almost never get checked.
  11. Wow, what a great thread. This is such a good way for all of us to understand the types of things still going on. These are the reasons I have spent 2 1/2 times what some R32s are going for here for one from Iron Chef. I can confirm that the genuine low kms cars in japan do exist but you pay a big premium for them and in my opinion are worth it.
  12. Just bought an R32 in Japan. So they are okay to run on 98? I have united 100 a couple of kms away but would be easier to run on 98. Would prefer not to modify the tune, car is 100% stock. Cheers
  13. Sorry, stupid iphone. My experience was with an STi... As I mentioned above, he let the car heat up and didn't cool it properly so the computer pulled timing and only made 175kw atw. The car had previously (and did in the future) produce 210kw and ran perfectly. He then showed me the read out and explained how it could be improved. I worked this out further down the track but in my opinion its not the most honest way to do business or get work. As I mentioned though, he has been around a long time and should know his stuff.
  14. My personal experience is that Paul had been round a long time and knows his stuff. I took my car there when they had a $50 dyno run offer. They let the car heat up then showed me the problems with the mapping and that it only made 175kw atw
