  1. Did it fit without hitting the strutbar? That's the style I bought from JustJap and thats one of the problems I had with itThank you everyone for your help also!
  2. Know where/how I can get in contact with him?
  3. Buy one direct from Nismo? For a R34 GTT. Surely they don't even do items for them, and surely all there body items are r35 based.
  4. Hey guys, Anyone know anywhere to get a decent carbonfiber bonnet for an R34 GTT? I've had a JustJap one, the bonnet latch didn't reach even after adjusting the catch/release clip by making the bolt holes bigger and raising it up. Welded a longer latch on, still eventually blew up smashed my windshield and ofcourse destoryed the bonnet. Shit happens Also once fitted you needed to remove the stock strutbar as the vents sit lower and bow the bonnet. But I'm after a new one since my stock bonnet has a couple of holes in it from the previous owner. I've found a couple on Ebay, none of sellers have got back to me and I'm scared of fitment buying one off Ebay. So any websites, or private sellers on here that people have used with no problems would be a great help. Cheers, Zac
  5. Thanks! Only reason i'm even thinking of getting tein is due working at Supercheap, So i can grab them at cost price + 10% They work out to be the same as BC coilovers pretty much.
  6. A little bit off topic, but i'm having the same deal with my GReddy coilovers. Been looking at getting Tein SuperStreets to replace anyone able to tell me what they're like?
  7. Change the extreme pads out, for general CT pads. Mine use to squeal and just got new pads and tapered the edges on them so they didn't hit the lip on the rotor ( Couldn't afford new rotors ) Most people i've talked to about say only use base pads with slotted/drilled rotors
  8. My 34 GTT is insured for $15,000 with Justcar, It is costing me like $2500 a year! Them amazing P Plates put my price up so badly haha
  9. NisTune is a popular choice, Ask whoever is going to tune it first. As some tuners won't touch Nistune if your running some decent power. I was about to purchase one for mine, went to the tuner and said he wouldn't touch it. Because they're still not 100% manual tune, the ecu still overrides certain sections. As to how true this is i don't know, but just a heads up
  10. Scratches where left all over the car, nothing to do with the repair job. My sideskirts took a beating, my rear end had scuffs and scratches on it. There is hairline cracks in the paint on the roof right near the edge.
  11. Hey guys, Just a quick question, where abouts would you get a respray done in Tasmania? Preferably Launceston area. Story is, bought a CF bonnet up the southern outlet one night it blew up shattered my windshield and dent my roof. Sent it into MR Dingo for dent removal while i was away for 3 months. Came back dent removal was amazing, but there is now scratches and shit all over the place.... So just a head up can't fault his work, but don't leave your car there for extended periods of time! Pretty much just want it all sanded back, any minor dents pulled out, if any rust is found get rid of it then resprayed the same color again (QM1) Bonnet will not be getting sprayed as its not worth the money (Bought it with holes in it, buying a new CF one to attach soon) Anyone have any recommendations? Even if its a backyard job if they do amazing work i'd be willing to chat with them Cheers, Zac

  14. I found an online one, but won't be home for a few weeks to link it. Was on a site called scribed I think
  15. They also listed people qualified to install and tune them on there site. If one is close by go in and have a chat with the tuner
  16. Got mine the otherday! Got mum to check the letterbox for them and she sent me a photo looks great. Can't wait to get home and put them on the car itself
  17. I'm having trouble getting photos of the different paintcodes. Wouldn't happen to know where i can get see the differences between them at all?
  18. Abit of topic, But LP2 midnight purple? Looking at getting my R34 resprayed midnight purple, having trouble finding some photos to compare the different paintcodes. Love to see some photos of yours when its done! If you don't mind me asking how much is it roughly costing?
  19. I found this one awhile back, Never looked through it much but it may have something in that could help. If you want to look through it all haha http://www.scribd.com/doc/5332929/Nissan-Skyline-R34-Workshop-Manual-English
  20. Wish this was around when i bought mine! Sounds mint man, Goodluck with the sale
  21. Go around to your local auto glass repairer. I had to get my windshield replaced a couple of weeks back, they did the windshield and seal for $390. Otherwise JDM autolink had a full set for sale not long again
  22. Naww comon now, i love matte
  23. Wow, there is quite a difference between the two sets. I do like the matte finish alot! Given me a abit to think about, thanks for the heads up about the different finishes
  24. I was never going to be game enough to DIY and set of these. I've done many cheap rims and they look great. But i'd hate to stuff up on 2k worth of wheel
  25. Jealous, I'd love a black set just like that! Found a set in the size i want on gumtree but they're silver. Just wasn't sure if getting them painted/powder coated was a done thing or not. 18*9.5 for rears and 18*8.5 for fronts. I'll just need to find someone to do them before i go ahead and buy them then!
