Hey guys, Just new to the consult cable business and need some info. I have a kenwood 8" touchscreen monitor head unit, just wondering if there is anything i can use to display the consult data on it via the RCA inputs. I understand i can use a laptop, then use the TV out from the laptop to display onto the car screen, but is there any other way? Cheers

Guys, Im thinking about changing turbos and saw JustJap selling these JJR turbos for under $900, just wondering what they're like. I dont think i want to go down the route of a HKS turbo due to price, and yeah, i know they're good turbos, but i dont want to spend that much (and im cheap) Im looking at the JJR430 or JJR480 turbos for RB25DET Cheers in advance Damo

Guys, Just ordered some brand spankin new coilovers which should be arriving soon. Just wondering if there is anything that you would recommend that I change at the same time while im playing around there. The car is getting a bit old now (94 R33 GTST) and i know for a fact that the steering rack is leaking, but is there anything like bushes that would be a good idea to change as well while im there? My castor rod bushes look shot, i think ill do them for sure Cheers, Damo

Guys, Just after a R33 GTST radiator. Doesnt have to be brand spanking new, just needs to be in good condition compared to the sieve that i'm currently using on my car. Guys, As the topic suggests, im after 2x new or nearly new 18/265/35 tyres. I'm selling the car soon and need some legal tyres on there before I get rid of it, so not looking for expensive ones. If no one has any, does anyone know where I can get a cheap pair brand new? Cheers Damo

Good to see another rocko-ite too. Im from Warnbro myself and recommend taking the drive to hyperdrive to get work done. Minor servicing i do myself now because its a few bucks cheaper, but more to the point its a bit far to take it for something i can do myself. If you need to get stuff done like tune your SAFC like i did, hyperdrive is your best bet i reckon, dont ever trust your car with a local mechanic as you'll probably only get a half done job and your car thrashed. Good thing about places like hyperdrive is i know they're not going to thrash my car cos im sure they see 15 better cars each day, why would they want to thrash my car

No offence.. if you have no money.. maybe a skyline is not for you. The things are money pits. Gapping spark plugs is different on each car depending on mods, all hit and miss really. Bigger the gap = potentially more power but can cause the problems your having Smaller the gap = potentially less power. I think i run about 0.8mm gap, which for minimal - medium mods seems to be the go.

Check your intercooler pipes/hoses/joiners first I've had a similar problem before when ive floored it, come on boost and blown a pipe off. Check the clamps particularly near the bottom right hand where it exits the engine bay

Re-Bled system again, and still having overheating issues. I hope it isnt anything serious. Im leaning towards water pump and/or thermostat issue

I used RCI-100 rated coolant (which should be better than the nissan stuff) and plus, it was working fine before on just normal sludgy water so even crappy coolant would of been better than that. At first I thought it was a airpocket, but ive re-bled it properly this time (i think) and still seems to be having problem. Whats the price for a 'Good' servicing at a radiator specialist going to cost me?
