  1. i got xforce stainless 3" cat + stainless cat back system from hyperdrive and can recommend fully. I only got that part of the system cos i already had a 3" seperated dump/front pipe before hand
  2. damn thats a lot of time. I think i did mine over 2 days, but it wasnt solid work, just a bit of fiddly work, then break for about 5 hours Did it make any difference?
  3. Sounds like you want to date him... if so.. try www.lavalife.com.au
  4. Hey dude.. do you have any different front bars for R33's yet?
  5. damn.. I saw that car yesterday as well, heading to the motorplex area around 1:30pm. Very nice car, didnt know it was that fast tho...
  6. I wish i'd listened to my ex when she said i should buy a unit first, then get a skyline after. The money I would of made on the unit in 4 years, i could of gone out and bought a R33 GTR cash , instead ive still got a yr and a half loan to pay off on a car that is depreciating every day. But in saying that, i love my car
  7. Yeh.. im 24 with 55% no claim bonus, and i still pay $1000 a year, car repayments are $530 a month, petrol about $400 a month, $1300 a year for tyres, plus servicing on imports you have to get done every 5000ks if you want to do it right. Im not sure what kind of money you earn dude.. but unless you're earning kickass money for a 16/17yr old or have 2 jobs.. just buy a bunky for the time being
  8. You want your car in auto salon? I dont think $15k will cut it, sorry to burst your bubble. Also you gotta consider insurance. Insurance for a 17yr old with a turbo import would be over $3000 a year i would guess, if you can get it at all. Without getting you down dude, you'd be better off getting a bunky till you can learn to drive properly and your insurance premiums go down a bit. If you still want a jap turbo car, i personally reckon you'd be better off getting a 180sx or silvia first, cheaper, good performance and insurance 'should' be a bit easier to get hold of. Just my 2c tho...
  9. Yeh.. the car is heaps better to drive. The power dip was real noticable before, but its all but gone now. Very happy with the tune
  10. Pal.. i'm in warnbro too. I fitted my own FMIC and SAFC2, more than happy to give you a few pointers. I got a Hybrid R33 GTST kit off ebay, and found it was pretty easy to install, but a few tricky bits that the instructions didnt tell you. PS. you can come round and check out mine anytime, im just near the last drop. Ive just PM'd you my mobile number if you want to get in touch As you can see by dyno graph a/f ratios seem pretty constant black line is final tune, just got it done at hyperdrive, took em about 45mins on the dyno to tune safc2. Very happy with their work
  11. I think letting others know if you have a good experience somewhere is what this forum is for ! I think at times... we should be able to also say if we have a bad experience somewhere too, whatever happened to freedom of speech on public forums?
  12. I think message of a job well done isnt useless. I too reckon hyperdrive are great, not overpriced and know their stuff
  13. yo paul.. i just installed mine myself too.. Quite easy, theres a tutorial on here, but i noticed that the wiring colors on the R33 GTST ecu loom is totally different to the tutorial, other than that, pretty easy tho. I too can give you a hand if you want as im just around the corner in warnbro. I wouldnt bother paying for someone to do it. It took me about 30-45mins maybe to install, and im not exactly an auto electrician
  14. Off MR2? will they fit the R33 then? Also do you have tyre sizes?
  15. I got mine done at hyperdrive, very happy with it, easy to drive with considering it was a 'extra heavy duty something'. I think price was about the same as autoclutch, but id been to hyperdrive before and happy with their service
  16. Thats what you get for driving a 'performance car'
  17. Do you have any dimensions of the steering wheels? And are the wheels leather or a fake leather/vinyl? Cheers damo
  18. Clutch wont be a problem serg if your engines stick fooked
  19. yeh im after a set of stock R33 rims or similar too, want to try my hand at a bit of drift, but on 18s it starts to get pricy
