  3. Sard R2D2 brand new on for $149 + $40 postage.. pretty decent i guess for new. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/SARD-R2D2-BLOW-OFF-...1QQcmdZViewItem Blitz $150 delivered http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Blitz-DD-SS-BOV-Blo...1QQcmdZViewItem The for sale in these forums usually yield good bargains
  4. Theres a 'better choice' servo just around the corner on rockingham rd towards perth direction but they sell poor ass fuel, theres definately no ultimate 98 or vortex. Actually.. come to think of it.. theres a Caltex just across the road from that one.
  5. A few questions.. 1. What would you say would be a good tyre pressure for 18x265x35 tyres on a R33 GTST 2. Does octane booster really make a difference? 3. I have a fat head, does anybody have a spare helmet I could borrow? 4. How much petrol should be have in our tanks.. 1/4 tank before the night, i dont want to carry too much cos of the weight, but i wouldnt want to run out. Cheers damo
  6. Dude.. try ebay. I picked up a Apexi BOV, 6 months old yesterday for $50 + postage, cant beat that price. I broke mine yesterday
  7. Mine looks like it was already converted before it got here. Theres a couple of stickers with jap writing then 134a after it, so im guessing I can take the std 134a
  8. Cheers anyways guys but im in the process of getting one off ebay, just gotta wait for postage from eastern states. For the mean time ive borrowed a Blitz BOV from a mates GTR which is sidelined with a rooted engine. Cheers Serg One thing though... is it just me.. or does the Blitz BOV sound like a video game. My old HKS sounded like a woosh sound, this blitz sounds like a sound effect, does the job though.
  9. Im keen for a couple if any1s got the following for sale cheap cheap as my rears are starting to wear 2x 18x265x35
  10. Whats the verdict.. group buy on octane booster? Does it actually make a difference?
  11. Stupid me, while I was changing my spark plugs, I pulled the intake pipes off and it wouldnt budge. I didnt see the small tube connected to the back of my BOV was still connected and it busted off. Can get it replaced, or is it a case of buying a new BOV. If so.. does anyone have one cheap (std or aftermarket.as I need it asap cos I was supposed to be heading down the drags this wednesday for the first time with SAUWA Here's some pics of what I mean. Also.. will the car run without this tube connected, forgive my ignorance. Cheers, Damo
  12. My car had already been converted to 134A apparently, but went to regas, left it there and was told at the end of the day that my condensor (?), what looks like a mini radiator, had a hole in one of the top tubes and cannot be welded due to the metal used and needed to be replaced. Does this sound right to anyone? If so.. does anyone have a spare they can sell me?
  13. If your just after a stock ecu, theres a couple of ebay. Yesterday i think they were $55 and $60 from memory
  14. Ill take a set of park lights.. my interior lights are good enough for me
  15. I think you could probably drop the attitude. $575-$600 a week still isnt enough to have a car that you want to enter into 'shows' as you said. I dont want to bring a harsh reality to all this, but our cars cost alot of money to repay and maintain, especially if your a young tacker. I wish I had been 'enlightened' before i took a big ass loan out and bought my car, I had a NA S13 which was ok, payments were managable and nothing ever went wrong on it, I wish I had of kept that for a while longer before I got the R33 Everyone on heres trying to give a bit of advice because id say 95% of people were in a similar situation and are trying to help you make the same mistake. Before you have a car you think all you have to do is pay off the loan, so $600 a week is plenty, you didnt mention if this is before or after tax btw which makes a big difference, but then you start paying insurance, petrol, servicing, tyres, repairs, upgrades, etc.. I'd hate to rehash on what other people have said but at your age insurance on a 'decent' car, it'll be at least $3000 a year. I cant be bother writing anymore because it seems as though you didnt read any of the previous posts, so I doubt your going to read this one...
  16. Heres a couple of pics of this bar on my car, pretty terrible photos, you cant really make it out but thats all ive got on hand. High performance imports issue 60 (last months) the full size pic is in. Hope this helps
  17. hrm hrm.. and for the install guide ? Yeh.. they make the parkers look like indicators they're that bright. Night time they light up the whole road, very nice indeed. I clean mine usually with cut and polish and use some wax after on it.
  18. Yep.. This front bar is the same one so Id buy this if I were you cos I have no idea when Im going to find the front bar im after
  19. Nah.. Im looking at the moment, the bar I have (the same as this one) is nice but its been cracked a few times and the mouth isnt big enough for my FMIC, other than that, very nice bar
  20. I can vouch for these front bars. I have one the same on my GTST. Very nice
  21. Any idea how much we're looking at for a pair? Im guessing everyone who bought the HID group buy would be interested, my park lights look like indicators compared to the HID lights now
  22. Not sure. They look very similar to those cheap ebay guages, im guessing they're ok tho
  23. Id say reset the ECU and get it re-tuned. To be sure. Im thinking about getting mine retuned, it was in desperate need for a service, and still is, might get it done after i service it etc.. But.. im not 100% sure how often (if ever) you have to get it retuned, im guessing with the weather changes it would probably need a retune, if you wanted to
