I haven't read this thread much except the first post but here's a comparison. Ant (Ant97GTR) and I were at winton last weekend and we were both doing the same lap times. low 1min35's. Powerwise I'm about 230 and he's 280 or something. Both had worn semi's (his were a worse) Both have good suspension and mild brake upgrades. Both had fun. Upgrade wise I'm sure mine would have been cheaper as GTR stuff charges a premium because of the badge. The comparisons are weight vs cost I think. A light rear wheel drive will be cheaper because of tyres, brakes, suspension, fuel etc You will have fun in both. My pic would be an S14 platform.

Good to hang with Chewy, Ant, Dimi, Sledgy, John R and even Brendan briefly. Awesome day even though the SAU numbers were pretty low. Clayton punched out a low 1min 30 too. Crazyness.

Troy. You're crazy. You'll never have enough brake setups. I ended up getting some old stock black 356mm G4's from Just Jap.. (They're sitting at home but I haven't even opened the box yet.) They won't be going on till I get 18's to fit em. As for pads, I've had DS2500's but don't think they're worth the money. My standardish weight 32 gtst with R34 310mm rotors goes really well with QFM A1RM's. They are $127 delivered. I go through a set in 3 track days but my rotors last well (RDA). I'd much prefer to go through pads than rotors! Really though, going K-sport / G4 / D2 etc over Brembos is only comparable if the Brembo's don't need rebuilding. They're over 10 years old now.

At this stage its just me, Mat, Tim and Campbell. + Anthony + Ryan??? + Bec??? Bec, give Campbell a call as it's best if he does the bookings. They don't like motorsport people because of bad experiences with drifters.

Time for an update! Mat got some new A pillar braces with the holes already laser cut and punched so I matched them up with what we had previously done and Mat welded them in. They look awesome! The cage really looks like part of the car now! Plenty of cleaning with finners and the paint went on today. We got a lot done this weekend. Well done boys! Now I need to have a shower and get this paint out of my nose! Pics!!!
