True Ash ..... but I cant say I miss the repair/power upgrade bills!

Yeah the Evo was the GT-R's replacement, great little car, about half the power of the GT-R but cant say I really used all that power too often. As for 6L of Commodore V8, had my 1st drive of a VE Clubsport the other day, very impressive.

Is this on a Built engine?

You'll be fine, I had my highly modded GTR for 6 years until I sold it in November, cant say ive missed it.

Well I was never hassled in the 6 years I owned my GT-R, yes im over 30 (Now) but I think driver attiude has a lot to do with it too. Went though numerous road side breath test stations etc..... the boys in blue only ever had positive things to say about the car! Watched the story on ACA also.... What total thugs. Complete lack of respect. Sad now We are all labeled "hoons".

You should see the smoke down here where I am Ive had Ash from the fires falling on my cars on & off for nearly a month now....

I really hope you dont mean me....... Ive been on here for 4 years & owned a 350rwkw GTR for over 6 years & have made many freinds here. . I dont think my ford is better, it suits my needs better. Im over spending heaps on my cars, I want a newish car that responds to mods well, the falcon does this. As I said above, if I wanna go to the track i'll take the Evo.

Mine gets around 12.3 - 12.6 L per 100 ks..... ...and i dont need a weekender, I have the Evo.

Well said.... When I was looking for a 4 door Saloon 12 months ago a GTT Sedan was on my list, along with the XR6t, VYSS , Accord Euro etc... XR6t for my money won hands down..... and a auto one at that! A few mild mods later & the thing is a straight line weapon.....

Bond for my money. Saw Casino Royale yesterday, best Bond movie in ages. I had my doubts about Daniel Craig as Bond but he is awesome, no more Brosnan crap! Back to basics was cool I reckon, very few gadgets, no Q, no Bond Theme music ( till right near the end )..... the move was better for it.

Saff Cossie - Yeah I'd say it had some mods when it was in Japan Alan..... got the Carbony exhaust thingy, an ARC heat shield & a Cusco rear Strut Brace.... susp isnt stock ethier, cant be as it sits really low...... but on the hoist today the Springs etc are plain black Mitsubishi ones!?! Its also got some sort of aftermarket clutch as its a fair PIA ! Nah I love it...... Matt - Thanks man, I cant stop driving it... even though I really shouldnt be on the permit! We need to to do a photoshoot! Archie01 - RNEVO? I dunno dude, i'll stick with the old one For now!...... Hows your beast going? Snowy - Gunmetal Wheels FTW!!!!! I wanted a Yellow Evo at first, but White swayed me, they look awesome with nicely offset rims & tasteful carbon bits. I'll take some more pix over the weekend with the HKS exhaust on it, and the tint is pretty awful too, so ive got to (carefully) peel it off & get it all redone...as well as give it a good detail! Thanks for the replies everyone. Tuesday night must of been Evo night! Three Fangers getting Evo's..... I would of loved a new IX, but its more than I could afford, the VII will do nicely. I had a nice surprise when I picked it up, a set of Factory ( i assume ) HID's on the seat! Heres a crappy pic(s) of it outside my workshop I took this morning..... didnt do too much work, fitted my HKS HiPower exhaust instead! Rod

Me! Picked up my White EVO VII last night in Melbourne, drove home on a permit (gets rego'ed later this week) loved every minute of it..... Cant wait to do some mods to it ( I've already had a bit of a buy up, its all in my Study here! ) & just get out there & blast up & down some great mountain roads. Its as dirty as hell & needs a good polish so no pic's yet, i'll take a couple on the weekend. Rod ( New EVO owner & loving it! )
