    Farkin Knobs.

Cos they can never afford a good car, so they bag people who can. And the Skyline accident just gives them fuel... d!ckheads man, they'll always make those smart arse comments. I would've cracked it hard if it were me.
  2. hey guys, just letting you know the cruise was awesome. Great turnout, there were about 30 + cars at the first meet (guess?? i'm not sure how many there were..) Some real nice roads, twisty and turney, but were real good. Well done guys! can't wait for the next one.. Regards, Shaun
  3. Sounds A 1 guys. I will tell everyone about this, and i'm sure they'd be up for supporting a drift/race circuit in the eastern suburbs. Nice 'hack' Adz, the letter sounds real good. Regards, Shaun
  4. agreed... no respect for ppl doing sh!t like this. if i see that Z, i will definately make my presence felt...
  5. This cruise sounds A1! I will definately be coming in my 34. Hey Ash, i'll have a spare seat so you can jump in my car whenever u want during the day. I'll also be signing up for a membership as i was late to the st albert meet. See you guys on Saturday! Regards, Shaun
  6. hey i'll be up for this cruise. got nothing else planned... my mate drives a highly mod'd s14 who'd love to come (if there are little to no cops, but who can guarantee?) if any1 from the north east wants to meet up before hand, i'll be up for that! let me know.. -Shaun

  10. wish i could've been there earlier... i got there at 5 at found out everybody left at 4:30. I'm real keen on getting a membership so i guess i'll have to get it another way. cheers guys, keep up the good work.
  11. yeah that was me in the red 34... i got there about 5 ish and there was only 5 cars there.
  12. in regards to your auto VL and your fuel consumption, i agree big time! my VL had zorst, cooler, pod, boost, and a microtech ecu. auto had a stall converter and shift kit - and the thing would struggle to get 220 k's out of a tank - driving like a grandma! wtf? oh yeah, and it was tuned good aswell. i know it's a big difference, but my R34 gets close to 400 k's out of a tank nailing the arse off it. pod and zorst are it's only mods.
  13. hey all this will be my first meet but i'll definately be there in my 34! it'd be good to meet a lot of ppl who have helped me so far on these forums. see-ya's then!

  15. Sorry to hear about what happened Nick, tough break.. I'm waiting for a court summons to come in the mail for my "street racing" episode a couple of months ago - no radar, just their speedo. So i'm going to fight it in court. See how i go! Good luck whatever way u go! But i think you're in tight spot if they got you on radar, can't really fight it and if u take it to court, just costs you money... and time...
  16. Hey all I'm thinking of getting coilovers and heard that hotbits are good, and i could get them for my R34 for $1800 brand new. has anybody else used them before? and is that price any good? any help would be great. Regards, Shaun
  17. Hey Pear I got my R34 about 2 weeks ago after importing it through J-Spec (melbourne based). The only places i know about for importing are J-Spec and Prestige - J-Spec are and agent/broker and organise everything for you, so it doens't matter about them being in Melb. they are contactable by phone and e-mail only. However - J-Spec are really slow, my car took 6 months to arrive and their site says it should take 8-12 weeks. Compliance plates took a white, and the company which i got them through (Auto FX in Sydney) received 12 some time ago. Look them up and find out if they have any left. Cost... well it really depends. colour, km's, transmission, mods, overall condition. i got my R34 for $25,000 landed AND complied, which works out really cheap. plus tires and it was about $26,500. My R34 is bright red, no spoiler, really clean condition and drives very well - oh yeah, and no mods. i looked for 2 months for a R34, and prices ranged from $25,000 - $35,000 ($35,000 usually had under 20,000 k's, immac condition, and the rare "blue" colour). Bringing in aftermarket parts on the car is risky - for starters, when it is getting shipped you'll probably lose half of them... people on the boats have a bit of a poke around. and plus, many aftermarket mods will get removed due to compliance. sus it out with the importing company you choose. My compliance process took a while - they told me 2 weeks, and it ended being close to 4. but the thing that took the longest was waiting for the compliance plates to become available. so definately make sure there are some plates before you got paying for the car. Expect to pay $5,500 for compliance on an R34 - i was quoted $5,000 and it worked about to be 500 more. once it lands in brisbane (that's where mine landed), be prepared as they might have a bit of trouble with the air conditioning gas - they have to de-gas it as required by the department of environment, etc. find out what tires are compliance standed before they put them on - i requested different tires on my car, and they put the wrong ones on! i had to pay for them to swap even though it wasn't my mistake. so be careful, and keep in constant communication with the agent/compliance workshop (depending on what stage it is at). if you have any more inquiries, feel free to PM me or reply to this post! good luck. Regards, Shaun
  18. good luck - be prepared for a lengthy compliance process. mine took ages, then the paperwork took 5-6 business days to complete, and then the compliance plate had to be shipped from vic once the paperwork had been put through. all in all - compliance took 3 weeks. but... u might have better luck if it's an older model.
  19. don't use J-Spec i bought my R34 off them in January this year, and it arrived 2 weeks ago. they don't communicate so you've got no idea where the car is! the person at j-spec who organises compliance and shipping, etc, is lazy and very hard to get in contact with! they put the wrong tyres on, and i got charged for them to get changed. they quoted $310 to ship the car from the compliance place in sydney to here (melbourne) and i got the bill today and it was $385! very unpredictable. their site says 8-12 weeks from date of purchase, and mine took 24 weeks! very disappointed overall!
  20. I'm a bit of a noob with this sort of stuff so this might seem like a stupid question, but... can i bolt on a 3" mandrel bent dump pipe onto the stock exhaust? Also, how much does 1 usually cost? I've had quotes ranging from $150-$270 Any help would be great! -Shaun
