oldm8 John took "gutless" Rosie for a spin today to see if the clutch was on it's way out. He couldn't feel any slipping but it could be a different story once overheated. Rosie is booked in for SAFC2 on Sep1 so hopefully will get some power out of her.

Yeah, he doing everything for $300 installed, I believe. Yeah, a 270kw clutch is rated about $800.

Got my SAFCII today and booked it in at Trojan for week monday, he'll be checking my clutch tomorrow and confirming if it's slipping or not which will be about a $1300 (installed) cost - fingers crossed that I'm a horrible driver and cannot gear change, i'll gladly take that title over $1300

I think 4th is slipping. There is more RPM than power when in 4th, it feels as if the RPM still going up but the car isn't moving forward to match it. Is this the case?

It was a very nice drive Rosie got a bit of a wash and stayed in the garage the whole week ! So spoilt haha! And as per usual, your GTT looking tidy. Met up with my cousin today who owns a R32 GTR - we did the cotter run together and a bit of a cruise to Woden. He offered for me to drive his GTR but, I wasn't real keen as I know he is extremely anal on who drives his cars. I think he felt a bit insulted when I said "I don't feel confident driving your R" haha Also spotted a white R34 GTT 4door near the cotter and a Stag with green wheels in Woden carpark.

Spotted a handful of Skylines and GTR's at Trojan - none that I recognized from here. Spotted a 4door R33 out the front where Japspec use to be, pretty nice looking one too.

Yeah, that's what I am was aiming for, so I'm happy I was going to do an SAFC about 8 odd months ago but never got around to it. Was told I can expect anything from 195kw-215kw. I'm quite happy with my current output, but if an upgrade of 20+ kw for a cheap price, I'm keen. I wasn't going to do anything power wise until today haha Now, I have to get my paint checked out.

I'm going to go SAFC. Nistune would be great and all but I'm not really convinced on spending that much. Just going to buy a SAFC and get it tuned for a few more thrills.

Booked Rosie in at Trojan to get a handful of things looked at. getting some wiring issues looked at, like when I use high beam my car seems to die for a moment. I'll also do the 5k with him and will be talking to John later this arvo regarding a Nistune. Also some clips and stuff need repairing
