  1. Hi, I have an R33 GTR intercooler for sale. It has been polished (apparently by GCG but no receipts from previous owner). I'm looking for around $700. Photo wouldn't attach but here is a link... http://www4.tpgi.com.au/wmoore/photos/intercooler.jpg Thanks!
  2. Inasnt I'm not saying your wrong or implying anything. I just meant that if Apexi state that the SAFC can do something and it doesn't do it properly then maybe there is an issue they need to be made aware of? I know marketing can get in the way of truth and being a Computer techie you see it every day......
  3. I've read the Bosch 044 pump can flow 160 - 220L/hr...
  4. Maybe you need to talk to Apexi then?
  5. Everyone talks about other mods but what about fuel pumps? Does anyone know how many L/Hr the standard fuel pump in an R32 GTS-t flows? Or any of the Skylines? Is there a formula for L/Hr equating to maximum HP supported?
  6. From memory I think one of the features of the SAFC is to allow for an atmo venting BOV. Yeah here is the quote from the Apexi USA website: " On hot-wire vehicles, the Deceleration Air Flow Correction function is capable of curing the erratic idle and stall problems associated with open-atmosphere blow-off valves on hot-wire air-flow meter systems." Taken from here: http://www.apexi-usa.com/electronics_safc.asp So don't keep stalling, invest in a SAFC today. I'd also assume the PowerFC can do this as well but I've never looked into it....
  7. *Ali G Voice* Respect! I think the combo one.
  8. I like the inner lights on the second one but the outer lights on the first one... Just to be different.
  9. Never owned a Skyline but I've had the A31 for about 10 months now.
  10. I'm interested in the AFM, When do you need firm confirmation by? I'm having some fuel issues atm and don't know what it's going to cost me yet... Cheers!
  11. I'm coming to Melbourne this weekend. Unfortunately the plans to bring the A31 with me have fallen apart. The car is still currently sitting at CAS with no fuel tank. The replacement fuel tank from QLD was only picked up yesterday so it's just not going to happen. Is anything noteworthy happening in Melbourne this weekend? Thanks!
  12. Yeah as Rev210 said on the turbos... HKS sell the turbos with a T25 style flange and a T3 style flange. From what I know the T25 flange fits the SR20DET and RB26DETT manifolds. The T3 flange fits the RB20DEt and RB25DET.... Please correct me if I'm wrong here... What type of Turbo does Killer T have?
  13. The GT2535 is a ball bearing turbo. Where are you purchasing the item from?
  14. The cost depends. As all the new large turbos I have seen retail higher than $2K then you have to factor in new manifolds (maybe) or new exhaust parts, plus you might need an external wastegate and have it all fitted up which would cost more then the rebuild price....
  15. Does anyone have any pictures of the standard RB20DET turbo not on the engine. Looking for pictures from all sorts of angles... Thanks!
  16. I don't know much about the off street drags. Is there a weblink for the format of racing and cost etc? I'll give it a go when my car gets fixed! Maybe we can organise something? I wonder if it would be possible to organise and SAU drag day?
  17. It's a 1990 model CA31. I had it complied no problems. I've seen a few Earlier cars coming up at auctions, not sure what's happening on that 15 year rule but I may look at bringing one in for parts when they come up. From what I've learnt there wasn't a standard manual turbo. I could be wrong though. My car was originally an NA manual that was converted to turbo in Japan. I just found out my fuel tank is very rusty and a massive layer of silt (fine rust) has built up inside the tank and that's what ruined the fuel tank. Was going to be expensive but I managed to source a tank cheap. Hence the reason I'm thinking of bringing one in for spares... *chuckle* Free plug for Croydon Racing developments (formally Croydon Auto Sports) I have found them very easy to deal with and knowledgable. Highly recommended.
  18. Don't just look at the power also look at the weight. A commodore weighs about 5 tonnes more than a Skyline, joking. Seriously though a Commodore should weigh more than a Skyline.
  19. Yeah that would be me travelling home from work! I'm pretty sure I saw you go passed too
  20. They are good points. I talked to Brett and he didn't guarantee the power but he said that is the power they have been able to get out of it. He did also state that the stage 2 turbo should be run with other upgrades like fuel pump, injectors etc so he was quite open about this. What turbo is whatsisname running? I'm investigating options for turbo upgrades and would be interested in hearing about what other people have fitted and the power they make.
  21. Quite possibly could. I've not closely examined the two but as soon as I get a chance I will. the Merc tyre thing sounds like it could be a good idea.
