Ok guys. I have been asked if I could get opinions from people (P-platers mostly) on the new laws that are being talked about and what you think. I have about a fortnight (I have been told) and am wanting to get some guys/girls on video talking about your thoughts on all the new P-plate laws that may be comming in. If you would like to remain anonymous that is fine as the video will be edited and Number plates and faces can be masked... This is being done for channel Ten to be shown in a half hour special..... Anyone can come along and have their say but we are looking for some good opinions on this and what you think should happen, not just "the Government is Ghey" I am thinking it would be a good idea to have a meet some where to do this but will have a think about it and post more details soon. Please reply if you may be interested and share any thoughts that you may have and what you would like to see... Thanks.

I do not agree with the banning of the high powered sports cars but I do think they should bring in a new licenceing system with more driver training.... They don't just hand out gun licences so why should it be so easy to get a car licence without the proper training... I remember I had to do 50-100 hours of driving then take a guy around the block doing 10 K's under the speed limit and then you can drive any car car you want.... for those with gun licences.. You can't use a centre fire rifle (more powerful) with a rim fire (less powerfull) licence... So why can you drive a 300kw HSV after doing a driving test in an 89 model TP Magna???

Lithium Ion Batteries have quite a punch... They have more power and less weight than the nI -cads but from my limited knowledge in RC they can be quite unstable....They burst into flame if you drop them hard enough or over charge them ... I am sure there would be less wheels when they have more powerful electic engines...

I think she was 16 though (no it was 15)...and I was told 8 months pregnant to the guy in the passenger seat (who was quite a bit older then she) with an 18 year old driver... This is very sad....
