  1. this is what i did. maybe not as pretty as the apexi kit but does the job.
  2. you can get the apexi filters cheap on ebay for like 90 each, thats what i did. spent about 40 bux on two mandrel bends and prob 20 on a couple of rubber joiners instead of silicon as they are not under pressure.
  3. i just used a 3 inch 45 and 90 deg mandrel bends between the the stock ruber hose and AFM's and bolt the apexi filters straght up to the AFM's. had to lengthen the wires for the AFM's though. alot cheaper then buying the apex kits.
  4. nice one Tommo. yeah get the 1.6 and should be 11.4 - 11.5 at that mph. Was going to go tonight but bit short of cash due to not having a job lol

  6. 330kw should be an easy 11.2 - 11.5. I cracked an 10.90 with about 350awkw. Have done about 20 passes all on standard box and no dramas yet, fingers crossed lol
  7. 300rwk should be an easy high 11. 250kw would be more a low 12
  8. yes its because you have a breather on your catch can causing it to suck through that and run lean. Either pull out the pvc valve and block it off and have it a full venting to atmosphere setup which is illegal, or plumb the breather back into the inlet piping before the turbo.
  9. pretty sure an rb20 type(large type) wont work on an rb25 serries 1(small type). I had the igniter go on my rb25 few yrs ago and i had a couple of rb20 igniters and tried it but it didnt work so bought a second hand rb25 type and she ran fine.
  10. 12.7 from a stock typhoon. i dont think so, more like mid to high 13's. Dont get a 4spd auto or 5sp manualas they are shit and wont handle much of a power increase without causing you dramas , only the 6 speed man or auto are anygood. Always have problems with there rear ends, diff, drive shafts, diff bushes etc

  14. if you search on the net there are a few horsepower calculators which you put in your et, trap speed and weight of vehicle with driver and it works out a hp figure.
  15. i am using a pair i got off ebay (not the jjr ones) and found that when they heat up that it is very hard to adjust them as the inner alloy must expand slightly cause them to jam. Made it hard to adjust them when on the dyno.

  18. i would of lined the timing marks up first before taking the belt off instead of taking the belt off and turning all individualy, its possible to bend a valve turning the crank with out the cams turning. The keyway should be facing up when on tdc
  19. im using maxxis MA-V1 235 40 18's. I bumped the boost up from 18 to about 20psi for the last run. What mph and 60' are you doing?
  20. cheers, nah havent changed anything since last time. it was a good night for racing and the track seemed alot better then last few times i had been. i was doing 1.6's 60ft where last few times were 1.7 and 1.8's
  21. Cheers Blitz turbo's are HKS 2530's. trap speed was 129.9mph
  22. any guard mods? dont rub at all? Yeah im sure they werent cheap lol
