Seem to remember hearing a few skylines go missing in melb. Sad part is they didnt have insurance which i find idiotic. All you need is the transfer of ownership and RWC from past 30 days. If your lucky, the owner will have it done, or will do it once you make a payment. Just make sure you have the tranfer fee. I forget the percentage, but will cost you a couple of hundred bucks. If it wasnt such a modern car, you could ask them to make the receipt for cheap ass, to save some dosh. Shouldnt be any harder than a regular car. The sting will be the insurance. get some quotes , and then activate it the day you take delivery of the car. But dont be fooled with mainstream insurer etc. I was going to get the car put in my dads name, coz racv were offering a rate 500 less than me. come D day, the computer rejected it processing it =[ Had to ring other insurance company at last minute. Last note, if the car has blow off valves etc, anything to annoy RWC you better get that sorted first.

Alright. School holidays are just ending now. So what do the little shits decide to do in the middle of the night? Why this time they decide to pry every single badge off my pride and joy. The two cool GT badges on quarter panel, the stupid S on the bonnet (why? its in 2 pieces and looks shit) and for good measure snap the nissan tag off the boot (again why?). No doubt to collect dust in their draw full of badges of cars they probably cant even drive yet. Mid year holidays they decide to spray stupid tags on the front wall of my house, and as an extra bonus spray the bonnets of every car parked outside. So anyway, ive dropped by the cop shop, who have given me lip service to call me if they pick anyone up; but unfortunately im at the tail end of their little crime spree so they'll be back at school tomorrow. was going to say, mine developed a stalling but mainly under braking. changed the fuel filter and fixed it, but has a warm start issue.

My mechanic suggested i have a wheel allignmetn the other month. The car has always pulled slightly left, due to camber of the road i presume. Went to Pedders, as i had heard usual tyre places were staffed by incompetant apprentices. whoops. $110 later, they told me there is nothing wrong with my car. Admitted it pulled slightly left, but said, camber kits were shit, and since nothing was obviously damaged, they could spend half a day adjusting shit to offset the problem, but told me to live with it pretty much. I was mainly relieved i didnt have to spend any big bucks. Wasnt very impressed with the price, but was still a decent consellation, considering what my imagination was running away with =) Anyone want to comment on these settings? Nice blokes there, but price seems bit rich. Been told you can expect to pay double by going to there. But i didnt trust my car with franchises such as beaurepairs or kmart tyre auto. They just seem to be a bunch of apprentices working there, and too many horror stories. hb

would be cheaper to just get the envelope labels for nametags if that is your bag.

I'm under the impression most turbo's also have water feed to help keep them cool. But was listening to a guy who had oil only. Is there any pro con to this, im assuming oil only would be cheaper, or am i totally lost? =) hb
