  1. u mean its a GTS-T yeah? how much is it advertised for?? the km's sound about right for a S2 skyline but your right, u can never be too sure. I reckon around the 20K mark? coz its got wheels and system...
  2. ur emant to bridg subs im pretty sure. i did anyway. it should sounds heaps better in the cabin since when its in the boot there was a firewall to get thru.
  3. wow... thats awesome
  4. whoever bought it... the car still can be saved... take the decals off.. the headlight covers off and a coulour change (including the rims) and it will be a decent looking car again.
  5. Hey guys, I'm posting this on behalf of a friend of the family. What happen was he brought down a car just before the old importing scheme finished. The compliancing place stuffed him around and long story short now that car cannot be complied. This car's been sitting in his backyard for over a year so I told him I'd advertise it on here for him. As i said the car CANNOT be complied therefore can never be driven on the road. It can be used for race use or for wrecking (Parts) The car is 1995 non-turbo R33 4door Sedan. Colour is white Automatic Transmission The car is in Very good condition and located in the SthEastern Suburbs of Melbourne. He's asking $6000 for it but he is desperate to get rid of it so is Negotiable on the price obviously. He'd like to sell the car as whole but if this does not work out he may start separating the parts later down the track. But for the moment only enquire if your interested in the entire car. Mechanically the car is identicle to the coupe. THe only differences are the obvious body shape and the seats. Pm me or contact me on 0433 117 369 for more details. Thanks
  6. the band expanders ive experienced are a waste of money. They do their meant to do but its not clear all the time. you get a lot of static etc on the radio.... If you really want to listen to radio then its easier to buy a new head unit. And then you'll have to get an adapter for the antenna becase thats different too.
  7. whoa thats awesome :aroused: how much does a spray job like that cost??? is it a pearl or a chameleon?
  8. i got an exhaust... i guess its a bit loud but thats how i like it. but its not a jap brand... just made up at an exhaust shop. i havent noticed a difference in sound between auto and manuals....just depends on what exhaust you get.
  9. if u get this the wrong way around then your memory wont stay in your headunit and the cd will begin form the beginning eachtime u turn ignition on. are your parkers/brake lights working?? if so then uve connected the ground to the parkers instead of ground (i learnt this the hard way) if your clocks not working then u must've blown a fuse... i think the parkers fuse is in the engine bay... but the clock fuse is in the car.
  10. I'm not sure about trashing the cars but i know that heaps of stuff gets pinched. especially recently. If your importing a car dont it expect it to still have its stereo that you saw in the pictures. A couple years ago our cars came in good condition except for maybe scratch marks on the rear bumper where they've pushed it with a forklift (since the batteries are dead) but these days it seems that anything that is relatively easy to take off is stolen. We have a 180 being delivered today... hope its still got its bits
  11. *sighs* I think your car was in my dreams last night ... hey ferni... its called the Explosive kit
  12. pics pics pics???
  13. Wow that was really really good. I'd also like to see the original skyline adverts.
  14. i didnt know it was standard... mine came with a screen on top of the dash too... doesnt look standard... looks shoddy... theres a wire running down my dash.. and the monitors kinda stuck on to it. but it still works tho it shows me how fast i'm going (in digital ) and its got this lil F1 car which reprasents my car.... its still monitorring me... the only thing is its got the jap map in it still so im driving over oceans and lakes its got a box under the passenger seat... tried to plug in my dvd player but couldnt get it to work...
  15. i'd follow the cut wire until u find the next connecting point and replace it from there... better than solderring it in my opinion. but i dunno if its a lot of trouble to do this. probably is actually
  16. pm sent... what area in melb are you? might come have a look
  17. argh the letterbox hit my car... :( big dint at the back.... if I put it in to repair i'm not gonna get it back till monday at least.... i'll have to come to the bbq with the dint....
  18. haha yeh its sold... but if thats approx the price i wouldnt mind.... even if its a 4door auto... would be cheap even with the manual conversion. and the 4 doors dont look much different that the coupe... unlike the R33 which look very different at the back. so its not like outragously cheap huh... hmmz .. time to sell my car i thinks
  19. hey people... i came across this R34 4-door on the prestige motorsport site and was amazed when i saw the price http://www.prestigemotorsport.com.au/au/st...sp?StockID=2909 is $21G a bit on the cheap side for a 34 GT-T or isnt that unusual these days....?? this price includes compliance and shipping... thanks
  20. i'll be there. can't wait. just curious whats happening in the way of fundraising other than the maps?
  21. i got flashed on stud road going through a green light... i was bout 5-10 kms over the limit i think. thought i gotta fine for sure... but it never came. it was at 2am and i was the only car goin thru there... so i know it was flashing at me. i heard that even though it flashes... you only get the fine if its yellow. i wouldnt take my chances though. i learnt my lesson.
  22. including barrell and hi-flow cat. jap kits ar shit quality?
  23. With the R33 theres a few screws in the boot lid. most of the new spoilers are made to fit the R33 since its a funny bootlid. unless you get a t-wing... then you'll need to cover the old ones and drill new holes... and respray the bootlid if you want to do it properly
