I'd get everything running nice on the car first, make sure nothing is going to fail after a couple of thrashings

Drift1 racing Intercooler kits
Bliksem replied to rmahnovetsky's topic in For Sale (Business Traders)
I haven't seen this thread before but i bought a D1 kit off ebay that looks exactly like this one, all in can say is its prob one of the best kits i've seen for the price, my mate has a hybrid kit and this one is probably just as good if not better... very impressed! -
Yeh i installed my FMIC last week, I only have a pod in heatsheild and cat back exhaust and havn't increased boost yet, the power gains were little to none. In my book the FMIC was installed to set the car up safely to run higher boost.

I Believe The (redline Oil) Hype!
Bliksem replied to clayoth's topic in RB Series - R31, R32, R33, R34 (1986-2002)
A gallon for the Gearbox (3.7 to 3.8L) and 1.5L for ya diff mate -
Synergy 8000, yeh thats pretty good. I find Vortex 98 runs nice in mine if theres no Ultimate. Unfortunately where I live only has 95 so running 98 isn't that common of an occurance Anything 98RON is better than 95 though

Replacing Stock Suspension In 96' Gts-t
Bliksem replied to WhitePrincess's topic in Suspension, braking and tyres
Nope no problem with the hicas Btw, I'm not undermining the whiteline/bilsetein set up or anything here but the guy told me the KYB Shocks I got were definately suitable for the springs. Not sure if they're up there with the bilsteins or anything but the next up from these were the ones with adjustable dampers, and for the price, coil overs would have been a better option. At the end of the day though, I am pretty damn happy with the set up and have been running it this way for about 3 months now, its a big improvement over the stock set up. -
ARC and Blitz re-use stock piping on the R33, not sure about R32

theres a hybrid kit on ebay right now, personally i dont think there can be a huge difference on what brand the cooler is, perhaps some minor ones like pressure drop and how much pressure they can handle but at the end of the day all they do is run air through the cores and disperse heat through the fins. heres a link to that kit... f*cking cheap at that price! http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Nissan-Skyline-R33-...1QQcmdZViewItem

Apexi Panel Filter In A R34 - Advice (all Welcome)
Bliksem replied to nuffsaid's topic in Cosmetic, Styling & Respray
The pod sits over the old intercooler piping hole, if you leave it like that it sucks air through there but im getting a stainless pipe made up to feed it (ram pod type theory) the holes for a flange connection are there from the stock piping so its easy to get done. -

Apexi Panel Filter In A R34 - Advice (all Welcome)
Bliksem replied to nuffsaid's topic in Cosmetic, Styling & Respray
Unless your in Vic and can only have one intake mod I would go with a decent pod in a heatshield... i'm running a Unique auto sports shield with a power enterprise pod and it seems to be alot less restrictive. I do however, drive an R33. theres a pic from the uas site: -

Tyre Blowout After 20 000 Kms..
Bliksem replied to ch0pstA~'s topic in Suspension, braking and tyres
Interesting i've got the same tyres but in 235/45/17 i wouldnt call them extreemly low profile though as i've seen 35's too and theres a large difference. This happened to my mate (crack then blow out) who ran kuhmos at a 35mm profile he took the tyres back to the seller and he replaced them for him for free with sumitomo's I think. -
Replacing Stock Suspension In 96' Gts-t
Bliksem replied to WhitePrincess's topic in Suspension, braking and tyres
Hey, just replied to your PM Yeah actually I put it all in myself as I have access to a workshop so I did it on a saturday morning. Its an easy job fitting the springs and shocks though so I would imagine your mechanic wouldnt charge too much. The worst part was probably doing the camber kit as the old bushes need to be pressed out, luckily I also knew someone who had a press. Don't forget you'll need to get a 4 wheel alignment after this though. Also allow a couple of weeks for the springs and shocks to settle, mine took around a month until they settled in completely and looked nice and low. Yes everything is brand new and genuine etc, these are the springs The website for this guy is Here email him for all your enquiries though as I havent found much on the site. -

Bliksem replied to WhitePrincess's topic in Suspension, braking and tyres
I'm running 35mm lowered King Springs, KYB shocks and a whitline camber kit. Also replaced some front suspension bushes at the time. No complaints here.
