My setup is abit different from everyone else's. Is it still ok to do this mod since the 2nd solenoid nipple is being used? And if so, which wire goes to ground, white or black?

With 2000 a month you should be fine just to maintain and run the car, assuming that you use a tank of fuel per week and that the car is running with no problems. If you drive 400-500km a week, then your weekly cost for that will be around $50-$60. Also keep in mind that you'll have to have some money for rego, insurance and inspections of the used car you are looking to buy. As for maintenance, it really depends on what condition the car is in. That is why it's really important to find a good example.

Not true. The foglight switch is a rotating switch by itself.

They'll stick out 44mm and 56mm (F+R) compared to stock so you'll definitely need to flare/roll guards to get them to fit.

You don't have to take out the headlight but it is a bitch to remove the parkers (which is what I believe you're talking about). Just keep trying and you'll get it - it helps if you have skinny arms!

Anyway I have to say that I nearly didn't go on the cruise! Everyone went up the F3 except for me and I didn't know who I was meant to follow. I ended up going up through Hornsby/Asquith/Mt Colah on the Pac Hwy and I was hollering "anybody out there?!" on the CB all the way. Luckily somebody answered near the Berowra exit and I met up with you guys. Thanks to menthu for hooking me up with the CB. Saved my arse today. Still, next time I need to get some mobile numbers just in case the CB is out of range.
