  1. Hey all, I've got limited access to internet right now and don't have enough time to search my self so if anyone can give me a answer to a couple of questions that would be most helpful I'm in Vic and this is for my R31 drift car, getting ready for the track. 1: With bucket seats do they have to meet any requirements? ADR's etc. 2: If a bucket seat is fitted to a car does the car have to use a harness or is the stock side strap fine? Thanks in advanced.

  12. A car does need coolant, the main function of coolant is to raise the boiling point of water. You won't get far with 100% water in your system.
  13. Happy new year.. for tomorrow
  14. Sounds like the thrust bearing is starting to wear out, or could be the input shaft bearing.

  19. Make/Model: Nissan Skyline R31 Ti Year: 1987 Kilometers: 160,000 Transmission type: Auto Engine: RB30E Colour: Champange Glow Modifications: Audio Only Roadworthy Certificate: No Registered: Yes.. Kinda Accident History: None Known Asking Price: $2,500 - $3,000 Location: Bayswater North or West Melbourne, Victoria Contact Details: Jesse - 0420 974 417, E-mail: [email protected] Other Comments: I bought this car with the intention of cleaning it up and making it into a nice daily. Unfortunately I don't have the time or room to keep it. Before I got the car it had been sitting around for 1.5 - 2 years as you can tell by the dust in the engine bay, but the car drives like a dream and never skips a beat. I changed the oil for good measure. Before the car is sold I will service the auto, diff and brake fluid. It has a factory sunroof fitted by Nissan, I have warranty cards as proof, alarm system, remote central locking, and all the other Ti goodies. It has a Pioneer head unit and upgraded speakers. I don't know what the fronts are but the rears are some Panasonic 6x9. Good little set up. I will also be getting the rims polished up. The car is technically registered, but it is expired. The rego needs to be payed by the 30th of December otherwise VicRoads will cancel the rego and the plates will need to be handed in. Understand that altho registered it is expired and will need to be payed. The car has had the same rego for 22 years! The body work is the only downfall for the car, some paint fade on the boot and and slightly on the bonnet, few small dents etc but a 22 year old car aint gonna be perfect. I can get a RWC easy enough if the buyer wants but I will have to reco the Power Steering pump as it is leaking a bit. But apart from that the rest of the car is fine. I will take the best offer I get for this car, don't be shy, make an offer, I need it gone Pictures - Sorry car was dirty:
  20. Spotted RMODE on King St today. Clean
  21. Awesome cruise! Good to see old faces and new. Really good night apart from getting lost a few times lol, but I realized I need to stop buying cars and invest in some much needed suspension. Only used 1/2 tank from the old girl, not bad.
  22. Don't even think about it if that if you want to get into the trade, not gonna happen, you gotta start at the bottom like everyone else. I've worked in a small local shop and a dealership (currently there now) and you hear good and bad from both sides but the big thing is just the people you work with and you have to have initiative and show your willing to work hard and learn. I'm currently 2nd year, 3rd in a couple of weeks and the amount of stupid qualified mechanics i have seen come and go is amazing. If you really want to do it, then just work hard for it, learn the basics first, anyone can change a turbo. But be prepared for long hours, hard work, lots of headaches and sfa money
