  1. Go with RDA, I have had very good experience with them + Bendix Generals pads.
  2. Check your fuel pressure and also check for boost leaks / exhaust leaks to start off.
  3. R31 Skyline all the way.
  4. Cost VS Gain it's not really worth doing unless your going to do it properly. Sure you can put some drop in cams and you may notice a little difference but it will be nothing special. Also you have to work out what you want the engine to do. Do you want to make more low down torque or top end HP? To do it properly: *Pick cams for your application *Port the head *Larger valves *Springs *May need lifters *Cam gears if you want to change the torque/power cruve *Tune Note: You may also need other supporting mods.. eg. Larger fuel pump. ^.. But doing all that is ALOT of money for not alot of gain. Up to yourself. Hope this helps.
  5. Motul 4100 Turbolight 10W40.
  6. Sorry mate I can't recomened anyone.. I am from Vic. Check in the NSW section for a good reputal workshop.
  7. I did actually mean a combination of they rev quickly / do go to a high rpm. 6-8,000rpm. If an engine is spinning at 7,000rpm the combustion prcocess is and needs to be happening pretty quickly. So a small gap is used when the engine is revving high to acheieve good combustion. If a large gap (1.0-1.1mm) was used in a turbo application, at those high rpms the spark would be blown out because it has too large of a distance to travel and your engine would run like crap.
  8. Tips:... *Mark the valve timing *Seal the water pump good *Make sure cam / crank seals are in 100% *Check ignition timing afterwards *Once the new belt is on, turn the motor over 2-3 times *Locite on the crank bolt and make sure its tight! *If you can, torque the bolts *Make sure belt tension is correct Thats all I can think off atm.
  9. It is a little low but as stated before if it is even on all cylinders then don't worry. 150 psi is average good.
  10. Don't call Nissan, they will always say genuine parts will fix the problem. Its going to be one of these: *Brake pads very very low *Rotors are lipped badly / unevenly worn *Some performance brakes will squell when braking My money is on worn rotors, go get it checked out properly.
  11. 1.0 - 1.1 is fine for N/A but not for turbo. 0.8 - 0.9 is for turbo. The smaller gap is for high RPM becuase they rev so quickly. If the gap is to big / spark to long it wont burn fast enough at high rpm. Also for stanard / low modified turbo car just use Copper plugs, 6's with 0.9mm gap. And Birds it does sound like there is some coil pack / injector related issue. Bring it to the shop!
  12. I don't think you really want to buy K&N pod filters and Drift seat covers for cheap do you?
  13. My GTS25
  14. I know what aqua plaining is, my post was directed at aqua plaining in a straight line. Nothing I had said has anything to do with the ass end being out. But on the subject of the tail kicking out, I personaly would keep the power on and counter steer. But that's me, I drift so I know what to do in that kind of situation.
  15. I reckon you hit a big bump in the road, the ass end went up, tyres lost traction, your foot made the revs go up so the auto kicked down and thats why it seemed like it kicked out. Worse thing you did was jump on the brakes. But at least your alright could have ended up worse. I had it happen to me once, I was just cruising 100 km/h on the freeway and because of stiff suspension I hit a bump and the car jumped onto the water. Best thing to do is to do nothing except steer the car. Although if your going sideways well counter steer EDIT: When I say jumping on the brakes is a bad idea I am referring to aqua plaining as you will lock the wheels up.
  16. Your 100% right, i meant to type ''lawls'' not ''laws'' hahaha
  17. Was a good movie and night. With the ending I think that he did wake up to reality because his spinny thing did slightly start to wobble and you will notice that through the movie in his dreams he never saw his kids faces, but at the end he did. My 2c.
