Quite a few skylines down here in the highlands now. Black r34, white r33, silver r33, a grey r32 and i think there is another turbo white r34 slinking around.

Hey guys!, lately, my A/T light has been coming on and locking the car in limp mode. To date, resetting the car has solved the problem temporarily, but now the car is stalling in 1st gear when i come to a stop in tiptronic mode 65% of the time. I have been doing some research and the general consensus is that the solenoid/s have died or developed problems in the gearbox. Is this true? I havent however been able to find any specific information as to why the car is stalling in the tip-tronic mode. TO be specific I will come to a stop, the car will idle normally for a second and then drop well below 1000 rpm, and unless i plant the anchors on real hard and give it a kick the car will stall. Im assuming these problems are related, but, im not a mechanic and i dont really know much at all asides from how to drive. So any guru expertise would be amazing and greatly appreciated. If it is the solenoids, how much are they and where can i get them from?! Mechanics in my area are generrally lasy when it comes to servicing imports. Thanks in advance for anyones time.

Just a heads up, there has been some roadwork slowly making its way up the pass over the last few eeks, but its just been a small section while theyclear the sides? Doubt the council would be working on sundays.

Blue R34 waved at me today on elizabeth drive inbetween the m7 ans mamre road. Saw you but was texting at the same time haha.

White R33 Gtst enroute to picton road, and a p plater has a black r34 with an extreme wing around my area.

As a side note, victoria has the toughest speed laws in the country, but the highest speed related fatalities every year. So whilst its unfortunate, you cant drag a horse to water, we will always have to accept the fact that some people just cant be told, and will kill someone/themselves in their driving career. So turbo it up.

Saw a silver/white stagea today, around 1:15 pm at the corner of mamre road on elizabeth drive.

Having an accident at 100 kph is the same regardless ofnwhether hou were under boost or not, so i say let themp platersnhave their turbo's. sure, i am one of the generation that missed out lol. Tey changed the laws four days before i got my ps As others have said, they will just get defected. Yes driver education needs to be addressed, just look at the current blacks test. How the hell is statistics and a touch screen test a valid blacks test? Should be another diving test to see how you improved/didnt improve on your practical skills. Defensive driving courses should be a legal requirement for owning a licence. I did one the day after i got my ps and it has saved me numerous times from bad conditions/other drivers. So in summary, and itmight sound harsh, but until the government does what we have said, survival of the fittest. * shrug*

Hey guys, After returning to australia after two years, and finding that my car had indeed been entirely neglected for that time, i have had the long and ardous task of changing everything. I the list was the fuel filter, which noteably hadnt been changed since the cars creation ( at 78,000 kms ). After changing it, i have noticed that if i ride it hard, for example smashing up the m7 onramp at elizabeth drive, i notice that after i back off at 120, the engine light will come on for 1 second. I dont notice a drop in performance or anything out of the normal. After resetting the ecu today, ( disconnected battery terminals etc ), and taking it for a quick test run, ive noticed it still happens, however not consistantly. My first assumption is that now i need to move onto a new fuel pump, now that the old one isnt pushing fuel through the caron concrete that was in the last one. Am i correct? Car history: Imported at 50,000 kms by E&M motors on parramatta road. Test drive ( before complience ) indicated it was a weapon. Dealer stripped all the mods at complience. Have changed oil filter and the fuel filter, trying to change the o2 sensor but its on there really good and i dont want to snap it. All help gratefully recieved.

Spotted two down in my area tonight ( sat night, southern highlands ) White R32 and a Black R34.
