Great idea Alan.. A fantastic way for the club to show their appreciation to the committee and other members for what’s been done throughout the year... Hardest thing is to not miss anyone.. Prob to start thanx to the committee for organising all the events that they have, every single one has been a complete joy to attend and thoroughly enjoyed them. Thanx to those who have driven me on various cruises etc when i didn’t have a car .. Scott, Alan, Chris and also Big boy for the squirt at DECA. . And of course Pete and Al for their DECA Motokhana events which i think turned drift/burnout sessions Thanx to the Bris for his driver training at Winton we had a great day and he gave me a lil more confidence to trust my car a hell of allot more than what i was game enough to do in the first place.. Look forward to next year with a full board of events and many many more enjoyable wang adventures and shenanigans.

Paul wouldn’t you expect the voltage reading to be around the 15's while it was charging the battery??.. I mean i think there is always a certain amount of power drawn from the batt to keep the alt working as far as im lead to believe (could be wrong) so maybe it's just the current charging the batt. at least it's allot more consistent now than what your old one was as it was deff reading too high you would imagine..

Adz mate i agree with this 100% for maybe a first car to not be high powered... I owned a 1.6 lancer before my skyline and believe me im glad that was the case... but i also have more respect for my line than what i did my Lancer... I drive my line allot safer as well... Although I do only have a few months before im off my p’s as well…

Ok seriously, this issues has been done to death. Although in saying that i still stand by the fact that a drivers licence is way to easy to get.. You get "Taught" to do the driving test not drive... My driving instructor never even showed me a freeway, basically nothing over 60km… If I were to have only had lessons with him imagine what I would have like once I got my p’s and headed for the freeway for the first time… I still also stand by if they are so against P'Platers driving high powered cars give them a test, which shows they are capable of driving their car under certain conditions with the extra power, like Gohan said.. I have a skyline and im on my p's yet im aloud to do track days in my car.. If im aloud to race my car why cant i drive it on the road... Use the power on the track and then enjoy my car in a safe manner on the roads.... If I was driving around a 1.5lt Lancer I am still capable of it getting to ie.160km/h.. It all comes down to the maturity of the driver and not the car they are in.. all cars are capable of reaching these kinda of speeds.. If a driver was shown (in a controlled environment) what happens at 160km/h maybe they would think twice about doing it on our roads…Being show in a safe environment at 160 when something could go wrong my open their eyes fairly quick.. You also have to taken into account the amount of people who are getting fined on our roads for speeding weather it be 5km over or 50km… They are not all P’Platers, and they are not all driving high powered cars..

Yea mate just sit it out my car has been in a repair shop for almost 4 months sure it's frustrating and i want it back but at the end of the day wasn’t the blokes fault.. we had trouble getting parts for example which again held up the process... When you get it back and it's in fantastic condition mate trust me you will be saying it was well worth the wait..
