  1. hey guys just to let u know that today i got a r33 gts-t handbrake to fit inplace of the footbrake which has to go for the clutch to have room it was exactly the right length and the single cable end meeted up with the twin rear cables like standard just gotta remove the drivers seat and bolt the handle in with 2 bolts (gotta drill 2 holes for bolts as there are none already) so simple as that guys and the conversion is one step closer hardest bit will be getting a manual console surround Brad
  2. im 99% sure they are different to r33 plugs, and ill give ya the part number of the stagea ecu and then someone with a r33 gts-t ecu can check theres and see if its the same my c34 series 1 ecu part no. is: 23740 OV300 PCMNR - 030 C1 6Y01 thats what it says on the sticker on the front of the ecu hope that helps Brad
  3. hey mate i got the rs four non neo rb25/auto and it went and felt beautiful to drive in every aspect, smooth ride, nice interior, alittle long i must admit but i like the fact they are rare and people dont know what they are r33 gts-ts r way toooo common these days and i like the idea of 4 doors better than 2 door cars  and 4wd is awesome for traction in the wet and take offs especially. The neo version and manual would be the best version for sure (besides the autech 260rs :aroused: ) and i would asume be much more $$$ but definately worth the money i reckon, and mines got dual electric sunroofs which are nice for summer days i only drove it for 2 weeks in that form and now its off the road for the next month for a new engine/box (rb26/gtr 5speed) :headspin: cheers Brad
  4. cheers for the info, just wondering if u had the part numbers for front shockies, and the rear ones for carrying heavy loads, and price of them new??? (bilsteins im talking)
  5. haha, seen alot of volvos around lately with the sticker, thought about pulling my badges off and putting one on :aroused:
  6. just a tip DONT use paint striper as it leaves the aluminium all pitted and must eat away at it after a while... cheers Brad
  7. Nizmo whens drag combat on?
  8. yes the front are gtr and rear are gts-t for the shocks, as i tried to bolt up a set of coil overs from a gtr and the rears didnt fit because the gtr ones have a fork end on em and stagea has the eye end (same as gts-t). but im not sure if the gts-t shockies would suit a wagon with such a heavy rear end compared to a gts-t 2 door???? sydneykid are the whiteline coilovers as good as japanese brands like apexi, tein, etc??? cheers Brad
  9. yer it wasnt too bad, only 1 gtr, and 1 rb26 gts-t and thats about it i think for the skyline crew, oh and a rb20 r31 and a few gts-ts. more holdens and fords than u could poke a stick at, i think next year we shall gather a large group of skyliners and show em some decent cars im most likely taken the stagea 26 in it for sure l8r Brad
  10. hey guys well my project is coming along nicely at the moment finished the power steering bracket (moved forward 12mm) to bolt on the stock stagea pump air con pump just about fits on but one of the pipes just touches the front turbo, but easily fixable with abit of tapping clutch master cylinder and vacuum booster are now mounted in the firewall, and pedal box is ready to be bolted in (with a few mods to line up stock holes) my sump is ready to go on the engine, just got a a set of hks s/s manifolds on the way so ill be putting them on before engine goes back in. gearbox is being cleaned with a wire brush on the drill and what a bloody difference it makes :aroused: stock stagea tailshaft looks to fit perfectly (the auto and gtr 5 speed are identical in length) cooler is setup to mount, just gotta weld the brackets onto the front support bar still waiting on a handbrake (trying to find one from skyline/silvia/etc) luckily my front pipes from dump pipes to cat fit perfectly under the stagea (better fit than the vl) so that saves us heaps of pissing around thats about it at the moment Brad
  11. i can recomend Hyperdrive Motorsport in Malaga, ken and lumpy do an awesome job, and always keep the costomers happy they are good with the nissan engines, and lumpy knows a fair bit about the stageas so ive been told from previous experience they will be wiring up my stagea rb26dett conversion, and they have done previous work on my rb26 vl and they done a great job as always PM me for shops that i highly reccomend you stay well away from... thanks Brad
  12. hey guys its been very slow in this section for a while now??? is everyone on holidays??? anyway hope u all had a good xmas and new years Brad
  13. just a question for u guys.... what size rotors can i run with the r32 gtr calipers??? i was hoping to get 330mm ones so i can use them when i upgrade to r33 gtr brembos. what size rotors are 32 gtr? 33gtst? 33gtr??? also are r32 gtr and r33 gts-t calipers exactly the same???? thanks Brad
  14. hey mate if u can tell me they are in perfect condition and like brand new then ill take them off your hands call me on 0402 622 317 my names Brad and im from perth, ill pay postage costs cheers Brad
  15. hey jay cheers for the info mate so does anyone know for sure if the r33 and r32 gtr pumps r different and what flows what hp???? whats the goin rate for a s/h gtr fuel pump these days??? ta Brad
  16. hey guys i was wondering whether i could run a gtr pump for the intank one and then setup a bosch motorsport 044 external pump (i got it from old VL setup)???? is the r32 and r33 gtr fuel pumps the same???? what sort of power will the gtr pumps run out of flow ? (setup with the 044 one) any tips on setting it up? any info appreciated Brad
  17. gary mate you will hear from me when its goin and ill take u for a spin :headspin: also tomorrow im test fitting the rb26 engine in for the first time to check clutch booster clears the plenum and then we gotta make new exhuast from the 3" dump pipes (already made from VL install) to the single 3" cat back system on the stagea at the moment, so we will run twin 3" upto a merging pipe and into a single high flow cat or one of those really $$$ ones they tested in a recent zoom or HPI magazine that flowed heaps better than normal high flow units. piccies to come and info as it happens Brad
  18. the build plate (blue one) says RC40 hope that helps and also to SK thanks for that info mate it definetely helps well 4.3 will be better for take off i suppose and possibly explains the bad fuel economy on stock rs4 stag's, possibly mine may have been changed whats everyone elses build plate say for RC..???? cheers Brad
  19. i drive fine and an idiot i am not i meant can i become a member with the stagea? Brad
  20. hey guys i was wondering whether u dont mind a stagea owner joining the club once i put my gtr running gear in :aroused: should be ready in a month or two ill be up for cruises etc for sure i havent had a decent road car to cruise in for ages as i never drove the vl on the street, bloody insurance costs and the vs 6 banger is a weapon that everyone just loves at cruises  Brad
  21. hey guys i need a skyline handbrake setup to use in my stagea, conversion to manual means i gotta move the foot handbrake setup to a normal skyline style hopefully someone in perth has one and willing to sell for reasonable $$$ Brad
  22. well i pulled my stagea front diff apart and the diff crown wheel says LS48:11 and what i beleive is a gtr front diff (my enlarged sump) i checked the crown wheel and it said LS37:9 does this mean 4.11 for the stagea? and 3.79 for the gtr? (might possibly be a sump from a gts-4 ??) any ideas guys???
  23. im also after one if anyone can get em and approx $$$???
  24. hey guys i thought this was an interesting factor for anyone with a stag because the brakes r bloody shite for a turbo nissan, and considering the weight is alot more than the r33 skyline rb25s they should not have put non-turbo brakes on it :bs!: so... i reckon the best and easiest upgrade would be the r33 brembo front and rear calipers, but i wonder if the rear calipers will fit on the stagea diff, cause i know the 260rs use a gtr diff also. i wanted to use nissan parts so its easier for getting it legal etc anyone got any thoughts on the matter? thanks Brad
