  1. Because if you are looking at the car front on, RHS is passenger. ..
  2. Perhaps this would work.. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/05-06-Infiniti-G35-SEDAN-4drNEW-Rt-Front-Passengr-side-Splash-Shield-Liner-NEW-/160998444213?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item257c414cb5 Remember their passenger is our drivers side.
  3. even if you did that you would still need the AC controller as the one on your current dash is built into the radio.
  4. I believe the height is set by the strut and you set the pre load of the spring to match the height. If you raise the strut by 40mm of thread (by turning anticlockwise), raise the spring by the same amount (40mm). This will maintain the preload that has been set which if its the same as the front it should be 4mm (thickness of the spanner). The preload keeps the springs captive at full droop... Someone correct me if im wrong.
  5. Ahh ok because i couldnt get mine to work but worked fine after following this: http://www.obd2repair.com/news/nissan-scanner-consult-iii-vimi-registration-instruction-a-433.html Hope you get it sorted, definitely worth getting an old laptop for it though they are so cheap these days.
  6. Im also using a notebook i had laying around that was already running XP, what troubles are you having mate? recognising the consult? "There are no registered VIMI" ?
  7. Hey mate this is a common problem and its actually happening to me at the moment. It is an expensive fix and would be more worth your while to do what im doing and upgrading to a double-din headunit (Clarion CX501 to be exact) The auto a/c is a feature of the car that controls the fan speed etc depending on the temperature and the engine temperature so if you want to warm up the fan speed will be very low until the car is warm and the heater will actually work. Anyway the symptoms are the same at mine. Chris rogers covers it here as well: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/240794-v35-faq-read-first-before-posting/ Heres an example of the easiest way for you to install a double din: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/METRA-99-7604-INFINITI-G35-03-04-SILVER-DASH-KIT-COMBO-/181072427505?pt=US_Car_Audio_Video_Dashboard_Installation_Kits&hash=item2a28c1f9f1 Although the metra kits arent perfect and it would be better if you could source a JDM double din fascia (found on base models, same as M35 stagea) If you are worried about the 18deg, im pretty sure unplugging your battery will turn the aircon off. good luck!
  8. New to this forum and thought id make a small contribution... When i got my car the fuel flap didn't sit flush with the body: When i looked closer it was obvious why it wasn't flush, the bumpers were squashed... So i searched around and found the part number to be 78837-AG000 they were a couple of bucks each out with the old, in with the new... beautiful. Hope this helps someone haha
  9. Yeah mate the actual stereo connects to the fascia front plate "controller".
  10. When you put an aftermarket radio in you have a special AC controller that plugs straight into the car rather than through the radio.
  11. Im using the same Consult III unit as Scotty. Same as this: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nissan-Consult-III-3-Diagnostic-Interface-Pro-Tool-For-Nissan-Infiniti-EMH146-/181145621323?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a2d1ed34b Works well once you know how to use it.
  12. Does anybody know if it will fit an 01 v35 sedan?
