Hrmm interesting - thanks for the replies guys! I msged the seller of the nur - and he said he checked the import record and his is the only one that's been brought into aus. Does anyone know where to find/how to access/who to call to see this "import record"? Does it even exist?

Anybody know how many Nur R34's there are in Aus? I remember seeing an R34 GTR M Spec in white at the Airport about a year ago - but I can't remember if it was Nur edition or not... There's one (M Spec Nur) for sale on carsales at the moment claiming to be "the only 1 in Aus" - is this true?

to add front downforce? i think i know the thing you're referring to... and if i'm thinking of the right thing - when you think about it, if it's angled down at high speed, it's going to push the front of the car down... like ---> / but if it's angled up at low speed... like ----> __ (but say, raised up at more of an angle, duh ) then it's not going to make as much downforce, as it's not needed at those speeds...

No offence, I don't have the time to write a huge reply... but... after sitting in a few FPVs on the showroom floor - I was utterly surprised by how shoddy and poorly made the interiors are. Sure they look nice in photos - but everything feels so cheap and tacky. Before you go saying "yeah but look at your Jap crap skylines"...I drive a Honda Prelude VTi-R. The interior build quality is miles above the older skylines/silvias and most other Jap cars out there - and I can tell you pretty much the only cars I've seen with better made and more solid interiors are european cars such as BMWs, VWs, etc. So disregarding your huge power, and supposed "race car-like cornering"... the build quality on a Ford/Holden just isn't up to par IMO.

Does anybody know where to get your speedo re-calibrated in the Bris/Gold Coast/SE Qld area? A mate of mine's speedo is out by ~10% and he needs to get it sorted pretty quick... otherwise he'll probably look like this guy ---> :chairshot from speeding fines

Is anything happening in regard to the actual car/power? Or is it just the knock reading? You got a Power FC? AFAIK the knock reading is a bit sensitive on these - it's just a unitless measurement... and AFAIK knock can be falsely read from things like resonance/other engine noises... Someone who actually knows stuff might be able to respond better But if it doesn't repeat it on the dyno - and if you've tuned it a bit rich - and so long as the car doesnt actually behave any different/cant hear anything - then I would say it's just the sensor/reading being silly.

I drive an N/A and I let it warm up - not for ages, just about a minute or so, then drive off down the road not hitting VTEC until the temp gauge is reading its usual level Might not be a turbo - but I treat it in a similar way, like people said - if you're idling for ages it's bad, so just cruising along at low revs (<3000ish seeing as I dont have "boost") in 3rd/4th gear for a few mins is the best way.

Something is wrong, I swear... so many cars have been stolen around Sydney lately - all skylines/silvias/180s/etc - far more than what I remember over the last few years... And of course, my condolences to you... hope you find it - did you have insurance ?
