  1. If we were bigger & more established we'd prob have monthly meetings but, it's not necessary & many do die down. The only time one would need to be held is for the AGM & obviously starting up the club. Another thing to look into is obtaining 'sponsors' which, is one of the perks people expect in joining an official club.
  2. Things are good Matt, we'll have to catch up soon. Likewise, talk more soon. Think you were inside at the time when Absent drove by, as he's the only white R32 with an SAU sticker in the area.
  3. If SA became an incorporated club that would be great. This has also been something I've discussed with the other state club members/executives for awhile & they seem to think we are pretty much there & was just a matter of time of getting the numbers & ongoing interest. So, I'm all for it Cubes.
  4. While meeting up with Madaz after work, spotted at the Hancock Rd & Nth East Rd intersection 'absent' (TuffR32) & Shazza (her200sx). Also, a wave from (BW) Troy in his WRX as we went passed each other in Modbury.
  5. Spotted in town this evening MR R34's yellow GT-T & a wine red R32 with an un-painted front bar. Also, at around midnight a white R33 on Nth East Rd heading towards town.

  8. Good to know Mel's still around.
  9. Would be awesome if Pete's '66 Prince GT could join us. He hasn't been on the forums for awhile so, maybe MattyT could make it happen?? . I remember that attracting a lot of attention when we entered together with a different club several years back.
  10. Although I didn't see but, just then (4:05pm) I assume it was Madaz making himself heard downshifting towards Hancock Rd
  11. Welcome Mikey, hope you enjoy your stay on the forum & kudos for donating already. Seen your beast up on CE, sweet lookin ride. HOSTILE on here has very similar mods w/ PFC + injectors in his R32 GT-R & is making a tick over 300rwkw.
  12. Good stuff. ShadowKnyght - there wasn't a Stagea in the SAU display last year but, Grim32 entered his RS260 separately which looked relatively stock'ish at the time & to his surprise collected a trophy. I'll add you on the list for the time being. * * Have been approached by the R31 Skyline Club with a proposal for the possibility of merging together to form a mega all Skyline (+Stagea) display . So, what's people thoughts on this?? If we are to merge displays we would prob group the same models together showing the chronological order of the Skyline. 'Matty 31' & skylineguy19 (Flick's co-pilot) will be organising the R31 contingent* *
  13. At 5pm spotted SNEEZY turning onto Hancock Rd.
  14. It's the BCNR33 Trust/ Gracer side skirts as well. The kit can be ordered from Car Toys here Adz.
  15. Good meeting ya & that's a nice tidy ride you bought there.
  16. That would be Claudes right? still, it better be some award winning hide.
  17. HOSTILE & 4dirty2 got theirs done at Custom Shine on Sth Rd, Blackforest. Others places include Claude's, Pooraka & Nth Est All Transport Upholstery, Holden Hill. Edit: For a complete re-trim of factory seats you'd prob be looking anywhere between $1.2-5K depending on material used (leather/ vinyl/ velour). For half the price there are eBay items & the occassional g/b for - leatherette seat covers, gear & h/brake boots which, are car specific & look custom. Front door & rear inserts $150-$500, again depending on material & design.
  18. Could be something wrong with one of the sensors (eg. TPS, afm sensor, map sensor etc) & I think you can check if there's a faulty sensor if you go in the main screen on the Commander select ETC. > then Sensor Check. Should have readings on what ever senors you've got connected, maybe let us know what sensors are showing & their values.
  19. All forum member's are welcome & anyone else with a clean Skyline & Stagea, esp R33 GT-R's which was all that was missing in last years display.
  20. Just spotted my cousin's mate's recently purchased black 34 GT-T from VIC. Completely stock except for a full Bomex kit & Trust air pod.
  21. Good to hear fellas. MissR34 - last year was approx $20 for club entries + extra if you want your car to be judged ($10) & additional if you did a motorsport event or in this case dyno runs
  22. The show'n'shine will be at the Morphettville race course (aka Alan Scott Park) again cos, it's cheaper & Immanuel college has some construction work going on but, I doubt the school will allow the s'n's to be held there again. This year they may bring back the interclub battles (eg. tug of war, wheel change etc). For those who aren't familiar with SCS weekend it’s SA's largest annual show'n'shine, tis a fun laid back affair & all are welcomed to show off their pride & joy, whether it be your: daily driver, trailer queen or track oriented Skyline. Also, the standard/ lightly modified rides are even catered for with their own judged category. Last year we had a relatively varied & large SAU display (~15 cars) with one of our own (Leeman) receiving a couple awards including 'Top 10 in Show' & hoping this year it will be just as big & successful. A group meeting will be organised for mid-late Oct after the lanuch to collect forms & payment. * *Updates * * 3/10/07 - Entry forms will be available on Wed 10th Oct. - Group meeting details: Sunday 21st Oct 3pm'ish, near the CBD To collect entry forms+payment & discuss display layout stuff 10/10/07 - Further information can be found on the entry form (as per attached pdf. file).
