Would like to clarify a few things regarding the current selection of cars entering AutoSalon: In the past few years there have been attempts to organise a SAU stand but, without much success. This was due to people dropping out/ loss of interest & didn’t want to have this problem again. Also, have spoken to some AS organisers, they preferred if clubs are to have a big group that they at least enter x-amount of cars best suited for this type of show – rice candy &/or stupid power . As much as I didn’t like the fact but, in order to make an impression we had to be a bit cut throat on the list of cars. So, with these things in mind, as well as, costs to come out of my pocket, we intially asked people who met the candy/ power factor & could commit for the show. Ash it’s nothing personally, as I have respect for the mods you’ve done to your car. FYI: ‘you are in that exclusive thing’, you did enter in SCS after all & hope you’d be interested in doing again latter this year.

Got most of my engine bay stuff polished through [boostworx] Shaun's guy. Also, currently getting some stuff chrome plated by Windsor Electroplaters in Windsor Gardens who also do polishing & are a bit pricey but, they were the closest.

This morning at a Bakery cafe & along side a patrol car a very nice & tough lookin panda R32 GT-R. Think the owner works at a nearby import place.

As mentioned it's replacing the S03 & supposedly was tested at Mallalla against the S03 & had better lap times. Bridgestone seem to be very confident with it's performance as they've spent $$$$ on marketing. I was quite impressed with the Adrenalins & will definitely be getting a set once I go through my T1-Rs.

Provided the centre part can be unstitched from the other sections then yeah, should be able to re-trim separetely. If you're lucky, with many sport seats that section is a removable cushion & stuck to the seat with velcro. Will able to tell ya how much mine costs as I'll be getting the back & bottom cushions for my bucket seat re-trimmed latter this week. Also, have been quoted ~$350 for a complete re-trim of factory passenger seat in velour.

Can't believe they're still allowed to trade. Simon the owner has been reported to Consumer Affairs on at least three separate occassions in the past few years but, obviously I don't think he gives a dammn .
