  1. You got to remember most if not all the serious drag cars would use mineral/ semi-synthetics cos, they'd still be running the engine in. As you'd know most teams strip/inspect & maybe rebuild between passes or meets & unfortunately, we don't have that luxury. So for the more regular driven modern cars, full synthetics offers the advantages of lower viscosity, less wear, more stable higher temps & extended drain intervals than mineral based/ semi-syn oils.
  2. Today mid-arvo on O.G Rd some women in a white SIK 033.
  3. Well done MissR34 & Sled on ya awards also, nice meeting ya Pete both very nice rides.
  4. Fantastic effort guys! ya did Oz proud. Also, given the budget & time constraints it's a testament to Aust'n tuning & build quality. The UK contingent did great but were plagued with numerous problems, despite having the resources of a big local company backing them. Results taken from the Time Attack UK site:

  11. Congrats fellas & display looked great. Also, did Twoogle crack 500kw & get the low mount turbo record? Wish we (SAU-SA) could've afforded the transportation to come up & join you guys, as we were in the invitational class. Maybe next year.
  12. Morpowa are good & they have more workers so will generally get things done quicker (although not always for the better) but, comes at a higher $$rate. Since swapping over 16mths ago & converting several mates to BoostWorx we've found Shaun a lot more proficient with the tuning side of things (ECU's, EBC & other electronics) than Simon/ Andrew. Only prob with BW is they should be up more North way considering Troy & Shaun live up this way .
  13. Hope ya have a great day Kellie.
  14. Cheers fellas, came as a bit of surprise when I received word to come along for the presentation latter this wk . That's what I though but, pretty sure was for Theo's drag car.

  18. +2 for whatsisname; Grim's R32 + 260RS; & puresx if they haven't already done so - they'd all meet the mags criteria. Andrew - notice SAU-NSW is getting a bit of coverage in HPI since your write up for the S'n'S & awesome to see Malcolm's 2500R finally getting noticed.
  19. yeah it's oiled up cotton . Oil treated filters is generally argued not good for MAF sensors.
