    Bov

I paid half that for just the pipe w/ clamps & quality silicone hoses - best I've seen (5ply). For a similar custom pipe alone have been quoted the $200mark in the past.

I got my stainless steel intake pipe from Shy180 - not sure if he's still a business trader on here though.
  3. Looks sweet & yeah what's the wheel+tyre spec on the rears? Hopefully will be able to make it out on Fri if you're going to the wkly meet to show them off ps. Did you get my PM?
  4. It's coming along very nicely. Just need to paint the rim of the Fusion speakers that sky blue to match. What material did you use on the doors & boot? velour, suede? Edit: Have ya got the new front bar yet?
  5. That's alot to spend on suspension alone, if it's a road car. What sort of Celica? There's only a few tight & twisty roads I know of in the Adel hills where underpowered, lighter & nimbler cars could better a 200kw+ whale, otherwise I also say it's the driver.
  6. Dammn thats a fireball! and it's next to Phuman's work.
  7. For a stock converter practice with various revs between 2000-2600rpm, & also don't rev till the last few seconds otherwise trans temps will soar faster than you can say 'V-TEC power yo!'.
  8. That's the same guy who details exotic cars . But, I agree bit much for an Astra.
  9. 5 too many Supras if you ask me & don't you mean OneSilvia80's Although wouldn't mind seeing 195 Skylines
  10. Loz has already posted this up in the events section. The last Ignition hot spot @ Castle Plaza had a bit over 200cars with a few days notice but, this time quite a few more clubs have been invited & given more notice. May check it out depending if I get the car back from the tuners.
  11. This was the Noble from the Old school & 'n' New school show'n'shine
  12. Saw Tuffr32 at 4pm on North East Rd crossing Hancock Rd
  13. This morning a black R34 GTR on Portrush Rd bout to turn onto Lower Nth Est Rd.
  14. Mugen!! It's taken ya 4 imports long to finally see the light Just don't make this a compulsive buy & get it checked out, w/ compression & leak down test etc...
  15. Who have you found that is able to chip & remap the RB25's ECU? In the long run it may be cheaper & as effective to get a piggyback or stand alone ECU. BOV's don't make the flutter noise...I'm assuming you mean the off boost flutter noise?? that's compressor surge. You can either run no bov or put any adjustable aftermarket one & set it at the tightest valve setting.
  16. The B&M pro-ratchet is an excellent shifter & only downside is trying to do quick 3pt turns or if a motorkhana stage requires reversing :). At the moment the O/D (4th) is wired up to the POWER switch but, plan to fit one of B&M replacement gear knobs which has a button & activate it that way. Nah, the auto gear ratios have remained the same. If you haven't already seen there's an ongoing group buy for the upgraded valve body from MV Autos & think Guy (4door_sleeper) has updated prices > Click to link There's also some good info in that thread so, if you have time worth a quick read & I'll PM you approx prices for the various other items needed for the conversion.
  17. A few secs ago a blue R33 (similar colour to pic) w/ some chromie looking wheels went past on Nth East Rd in St Agnes. Is noiiice!
  18. Think Cubes tried requesting another sub-forum for us like the SA events section but, it was denied . So the next best thing Joel could do was sticky a F/S thread.
  19. Only admin & mods for that section are allowed that privilege & you'll have nil chance getting them to enable the option for general members to delete their threads. But, as the creator of a thread you can just amend the topic title & state item has been SOLD.
  20. Hardly seems fair andz69 has about that atw - power to weight RB26 FTW!
  21. I've got a sequential manualised-auto with a stage II shift kit. Using MV Automatic's electronic shift controller you can disable the auto ECU to make it behave similar to a manual valve body. As the name implies having a manual valve body requires it to be driven like a manual just without a clutch so, you wouldn't leave off from the lights in 4th There's no O/D & kick down function so, now O/D button off=3rd & O/D on=4th...think I got that right as, I use a ratchet shifter. NB: If you have the O/D on (4th) still engaged & then shift gears the trans will flare & can shock the trans when you correct it back into gear . With med-high loads the shifts between gears are instantaneous & crisp but, off throttle & low loads gear changes can sometimes be a bit jerky. Also, for me going down from 4th->3rd the engine brake doesn't engage & not sure if this is the same with a 4speed manual valve body. But, yes when you down shift & plant it, it will haul, as well as, chirp the wheels even in 3rd .
  22. ^^^ It's still not bad for something that came out of the 80's & arguably better looking than the F50 & F60. But agreed better cars like the ones I mentioned previously can be bought.
  23. Which model spoiler, GTR or GTS-T? You could try PM'ing PSI Parts who's a business trader here on the forums. They're currently organising a group buy for the Do-Luck kits but, not the rear wing as I was the only one who seemed interested in the GT-R rear spoiler.
  24. Yeah will look a lot nicer once you get the FMIC to sit closer to the front bar. All the best with the project. According to carmate.com that's a 'WW style' (whatever company that is ) front bar & it does look very similar to one of the Trial bars.
  25. Ferrari owns/ runs Maserati & that Maserati MC12 has an Enzo engine so, I'd think Nathan is right in that Ferrari picks who can own one.
