All Autech vehicles started out as the base model,the Stagea 260RS had an RB25 on the blue plate pre conversion. The blue screen on fast should be a massive give away to anyone who knows how the system works. Does anyone have the fast program for Autech cars? Attached is the pic of the car in Japan. Very unique colour for starters.

It was an Autech vehicle, with a RB26DE no less. Not eligible for import by 2 months.

Ive imported 2 GT-Rs and constantly keep and eye on the market as an enthusiast to see whats available and if theres any "bargains". All I can say is although the exchange rate is good, the prices have gone up to match and grade 4 and better cars are very few and far between and generally the only ones that dont reappear for sale the next week. Unless you could go and inspect one in real life I personally would touch and R or A cars or less than grade 4. That being said, some of the smaller auctions still grade an accident car so buyer beware. You get what you pay for, a proper sub 100k Vspec 2 with a reasonable history and not too modified still goes for decent money in Japan. Arguably more that what it would cost to buy locally..

Ive seen those plates loose colour if the engine bay has been steam cleaned or degreased and gernied. The numbers look fine, in fact if the plate was too shiney and new you would be more sus.

That second R32 Vspec you linked is mine. I do have import paperwork with the ks that are on it. Its a very honest and tidy car. Im a bit surprised it hasnt sold, I wouldnt if I didnt have my eye on something else. Paint on the plenum can be a guide, but the reality is that if its been pressure washed at all in the engine bay the paint is the first to go. Wouldnt be that hard to touch up, if your that way inclined. Look for signs of overspray, if its all fesh looking and black, cause its very unlikely to have been removed to be painted, unless the engine is out.

Definatley fast the number. I know that Autech 260Rs's come up in Nissan Fast as an Autech vehicle, would think that this would do the same if there is such a thing. Would be cool if there is such a thing, cause Ive never personally heard of it. Keep us all updated.

The steering angle sensor is in a different spot. The 2 cut outs are, its been a while, about 30 degrees out. You may not notice the hicas acting up if you have a lock bar but on a stocker the car does a "shimmy" after about 10 minutes of driving and then the hicas light will come on. You can check if the steering wheel is in the right position if you go into hicas self test, from memory it involves turning the wheel and stomping on the brake within a certain time (im sure theres a tutorial somewhere).

Early to late are definitely different, don't use an early on a late car or vice versa. A really weird hicas fault occurs after driving it for a few minutes. It sets the steering wheel angle sensor in the wrong spot.

Doesnt look that bad, im not a fan of wine red but it still looks good. Go for it!
