  7. interestingly murray walker says : I think Fangio was the best, and then Schumacher, Senna, Jim Clarke, Alain Prost and Jackie Stewart. You couldn't separate them. and thats a man whos seen a lot of f1
  8. i only followed f1 from the early 80s as a kid , so I never personally saw clarke , fangio , villneuve but i did see senna and schu and senna was the only driver I have ever seen in any form of motersport that was VISIBLY another whole level above all his peers . You can physically see he had greater control and skill than all the other drivers he raced against . i have watched shcu's entire career and never had that same feeling . schu was an immaculate racer , a true professional and a deserved world champ but ive never felt the same way you felt about senna when you saw him on the track i think most people who say senna was the best are the people who actually saw him and experienced the same sort of thing . we new we were seeing something rare and special
  9. awww shucks thanks everyone ! paul we be around from time to time for the next month or so if you want to come in and give him your best . cheers alistair

  11. this cooler will preform well but its not that hard to fit a normal style fmic , just some minor cutting . i wouldnt go to the cost of the arc one compared to a generic china kit
  12. i had a customer who just licensed his supra last week and he purchased it in december last year gotta love those brokers! 2 weeks is not uncommon for quarantine , it just depends how busy they are
  13. save your money on a name brand exhaust and just get an xforce or similar my last r34 had hiflow cat and trust power extreme II catback and it was louder than my current xforce turbo back system and obviously made less power with stock dump and front . IMO the xforce quality is just as good and its not realy an area where china quality is a concern . same with cats , special metal cats might provide small gains but not worth the $$$ which would be better spent elsewhere for more productive gains although if you were chasing every kw in a no stops spared build then go for it do not keep the smic, the stock intercooler is really not great . its slightly thicker than a 32/33 one but its still increadibly tiny , its inlet and outlet and piping tract is restrictive and its position is less than ideal . for the cost of a proper fmic kit these days theres no need to keep it if you can find a 2nd hand pfc grab it , its still the best option out of any ecu by far in its price range
  14. no u turns ever within 50m or something of a traffic light
  15. they do both have the splitter you have to choose one and remove the other
  16. - What are the chances on a 1990 R32 GTS-T being reliable these days? not much . engine problems and rust a prevalent in older models , even 93s these days - Can I get a nice R33 GTS in that price range? definetly - I realise $11,000 is low for a R33 GTS-T, so are cars in that price range likely to be thrased, unreliable lemons? thrashed , damaged , rusty or mechanical problems you get what you pay for
  17. what do you get for a 289 minor service ?
  18. according to this lumpy is no longer tuning outside of autronic and special stuff http://www.westdrift.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1176 "Yes, it is true than i am not tuning for the general public anymore. The only work I do in this area is with regards to support/supply/install/tuning of Autronic products, for which I am the dealer in WA, and I am also getting heavily into the data acquisition side of things. The push towards a greater profile in professional motorsport occupies me these days, with 50% of my time spent interstate and some overseas stuff not too far away, with the management and ongoing development of the Slide-FX Pty Ltd drift racing team and it's in-house projects taking up what's left. Thanks to all for the wishes and previous custom."
