  1. I have a blitz kit on my Stag the piping runs under the car but does not have any 180 degree bends it looks like a very good piping design. It uses the stock holes but they have been enlarged on my car.

  6. I fitted up the Davis Craig cooler yesterday. It is a relatively easy fitment but having a front mount makes it a bit harder to get in. One thing the SK didn’t mention or maybe didn’t have trouble with on his car is that one of the stock pipes ends right next to the edge of the cooler making it impossible to fit the hose. I got around this by bending both pipes towards the front of the car a little. oh and I have better horns
  7. I purchased my car without the air box and with an unshielded apexi pod filter. When I was fitting a trans cooler today I had a bit of a look around to try to work out how to shield the pod and get some cold air to it. It doesn’t look like I will be able to fit a stock air box back in there with the intercooler piping so my best option is probably to fit a stock snorkel to feed it cold air with a shield cut and shaped out of aluminium or a plastic sheet (ABS) but there is just so much crap in the way. I don’t think it will be able to get a good seel if I have to cut out holes in the shield to fit around all the crap and I’m not sure how I can relocate some of it to make it all a bit cleaner. The intercooler pipes, oil catch can, boost controller solenoids, carbon canister and coolant overflow are all cluttering it up. Dose any one have any ideas on how I can make something effective without heaps of stuffing around?

  13. If the pump is the same how come the Stageas steering is so much lighter than an R33?
  14. With the days getting shorter I’m finding that I’m driving to and from work in the dark most days. It’s not much fun seeing roos jump out at you when your only 10m away. I would love to get some decent lights on it but can’t work out the best way to do without making it look real stupid. I have monster lights on my rally car and the headlights on the Stagea are like candles in comparison. 1. Fit a set of Lightforce 140 Lance lights mounted upside down in front of the intercooler mounted onto the bumper support. Lightforce 2. Mount a set of big lights behind the upper grill. 3. Go all out with a light bar and a few monster lights.

  16. Daarrrrggg R33 GTSt rear sway bars don’t fit I found out the hard way. They are about 4cm too short or narrow.
  17. Price droped to $17,500 It pulls chicks just like a 2 Door and you can get them in the back quicker. :aroused: :boobs:
  18. Hard is not good on Ausie roads. The Teni's in mine are way to hard. I bounce and bang around on every bump, get air bourn on bigger bumps and almost get thrown off the road on mid corner bumps. I had trouble keeping up with an old Patrol on a narrow windy bumpy road today and felt like I was going to be pinged of the road a few times. (The Patrol was flying and getting loose on almost every corner) The first thing I will be doing when I sell my Skyline is putting in a set of Bilstines with GTR front springs and specially wound Whiteline springs for the rear
  19. We are not talking performance conversion here. The old bloke is about 80. I think the E34 came with a 1.8 too so a RB20 or RB25 should push is along ok. This is just an alterative to fixing the clapped out and busted stock engine and giving him reliable transport in the car that he loves. Other wise he will end up in an Echo. I know I don’t want to end up with an Echo as my last car.
  20. It's a 86 so not that heavy I would need auto box ecu and all the bits an peaces too
  21. My Grandfather had stuffed the engine in his BM. It has a shattered rocker arm and damaged piston that he has been quoted a minimum of $3000 to have fixed. On top of that the engine is just plain worn out anyway and the auto box is not changing down as it should and making very rough up shifts. It’s probably only worth $4,000 all fixed up or $1,000 with stuffed engine but he has just spent a fair bit getting dints and damaged paint fixed, new shocks and bushes, brakes and tyres. I am thinking it might be a better option to re power it with an RB20DE or RB25DE auto. How much so you think this could be done for? Im guessing some were between $1500 and $2000 for the engine pack / half cut and probably another $2000 of so for it to be put in maybe less. It would just be a basic re powering not a performance conversion so could use the stock exhaust and radiator and would not require any of the normal intercooler pipe work so should be reasonably cost effective.
  22. I will probaly stick them on when im due for new tyres. Got any pics of the HollowType R's SK?
