I will be in for a tow bar group buy from prestige. They did one on my R33 and I was real happy with it. It was only rated to 850kg but that was all I wanted at the time. I would like to be able to tow my Datsun 1600 rally car with the Stage so would need a heavier duty one.

SK Who is your contact at Whiteline who actually knows what is going on and what a Stagea is? I ordered everything but the rear shocks and springs over a month ago and have not seen anything yet. I didn’t bother with the rear shocks or springs because it was just too hard to get them to understand what I was after. I would like to contact them to get my order adjusted to include the rear shocks and springs, add the read sub frame alignment kit and get the discounted prices but I can see it all being just too hard.

What about a R33 or R34 skyline one. It should be able to me made to fit.

What about your brakes and suspension? You don’t want to put brown streaks on your new seats.

A tow bar on a Skyline is fine. You can't even see it when the tong is removed and it tows fine but maybe not a hose float. Have a look the pics of mine.Click

I might take you up on that offer. What do you want for them? The prices I listed are the recommended retail prices off their web site, I should be able to get them down on that a bit but if not a 15% discount through you sounds good. The diary is free on the 23/24th so I will probably drop down to Sandown to say hello and give you a hand if needed even if you’re not bringing stuff down for me.

Yes they are the same as R33 and R34 and probably R32. I have eastbear R34 GTR seats and rails in mine and they fit fine.

Thanks SK good points on the alignment I based my settings on what Whitline recommend for a GTR fitted with their kit. I would probably stick with the stock springs as you have only problem is I don’t have them. My car came with a set of Teni pogo sticks. I have a full whiteline kit in my Skyline and find the spring weights very good so I am thinking I may as well get some new slightly stiffer springs while I'm at it rather than trying to find a set of stock springs.

I have put together a list of parts I’m planing to get to sort my car out, all from Whiteline. What I have listed is essentially all from the R33 GTR kit minus the rear Shocks and Springs. The rear shocks are R33GTS Bilsteins. But I have been unable to find a spring to mach. Using the GTR front spring and shock combo will give a hight of 355mm and I would like to aim for a rear hight of 360. Has any one worked out what rear spring is suitable and if so what the part number is? Dose any one know what the weight is of the Whiteline GTR front spring 83159? The stock springs are Front 165 lbs per inch and Rear 170 lbs per inch giving the rear 8.25%. heavier weight. I would assume it would be a good idea to aim for a rear spring that is the same % heavier than the Whiteline GTR front spring as with the stock springs. Time to sell the Skyline It’s a white R33 GTS25t manual 4 door type M It was imported two years ago with 70,000km and was auction grade 4 it now has 102,000 km, I have serviced it every 5,000km using Motal oil. It is essentially stock but has Whiteline suspension bits in it and I have just spent $400 getting the windows tinted. It also has a tow bar rated to 850kg that I had fitted to tow my motorbike (only 300kg). Apart from a few minor stone chips on the front bar this car is immaculate; I have even had some people think it was a new car. I don’t think the back seats have even been used. It has been kept under cover day and night and barely even driven in the rain. I love this car and don’t want to sell it but I need something I can use to tow my rally car. So dose that mean that the Stagea has a wider track than the GTR. How dose it compare to a R33 GTSt? I tried to fit a R33 GTS-t sway bar on my Stagea but the rear sub frame was about 50mm to wide for the mounts to line up.
