the hot air comes out from the feet always. press the button on your dash that looks like an arrow and your hot air will stop coming in... as for the clicking the cog inside the dash that adjusts it all has worn out and slips making a clicking noise.

judging by that sound you have an exhaust manifold leak. looks like a few bolts are missing there too anyway.

The top bracket did not match up for one, and two I don't have access to an angle grinder to trim off some of the reo bar as it was getting in the way of the end tanks. Managed to fit it but because the top bracket doesnt match 100% the piping doesnt reach far enough to reach engine bay. I'll ring RE customs tommorrow and try and work something out. Thanks.

misfire. change plugs and gap to 0.8mm if that doesnt solve issue then 99.999999% its coil packs.

not for a week, petrol goes "stale" after about a month or so... should be fine, just d/c battery.

So all day today a mate and myself were trying to put a front mount on the car but with no success... Got the justjap kit that uses stock piping. I can't be bothered trying again, just finished putting car back together, and its an absolute bitch. I wont be trying that again thats for sure. Anyone know anywhere to get it done professionally and at a reasonable cost? Thanks.

You dont need to splice into cluster signal, way too much f**king around if u ask me. This is what i did with my greddy fatt. Remove kick panel in passengers side to reveal ecu, splice into vehicle speed sensor wire for rpm signal for the timer. Ive uploaded an image so you can see which pin it is to trace the wire. Well the answer to your question is pretty much there dude. You have a PLUMBED BACK BOV and now you've installed an ATMOSPHERIC BOV, which of the 2 do you want? One just recirculates the air back thru the system while your new vents it out. Either have one or the other. No damage can be done to the car having both, but it just defeats the purpose of having an atmo bov on there now. Like what was said a few posts up, if you can't get your hands on a block off plate for your stock bov, get a coke can, use the gasket off the stock bov trace around the can and cut it. Use that as a block plate and whack your stock bov back over it.

Hmm. That makes a lot of sense. It only does it though for about 10 seconds and yeah sounds like a jet when you first start then goes away. I'll try rotating the fan after a long drive and the car is hot (while the car is switched off this is lol!) if it spins freely then what else could it be? Also if the fan clutch has seized, what do they cost to fix?

Hey guys, I have a 97 gts-t and about a week ago when I start my car cold the fan on it blows like crazy and you can see/hear it going real fast. Is that normal? I'm thinking it may be a dodgy coolant temp sensor, my only reason in saying that is because I am starting my car dead cold and fan runs like crazy maybe thinking its hot? Cheers.

It's a misfire, what gaps are the plugs set to?

I know what priming noise sounds like and humming from the pump. The noise mine makes is a groan which is NOT normal, this is what I/we mean by weird sounds. Cheers.

i dont know about quarts but in metric it will take about 4.3 to 4.5 litres of oil thereabouts.

Thats pretty standard dude. Mine sits at just a tad over 2 on idle when its hot. My mates gtr and my other mates 33 are pretty much the same. When you drive it should sit just over 4 and when you give it shit just just below 6.

Just grab yourself a bosch 040 pump theyre good for about 300kw. They require little modification to fit and they cost about $150.
