  1. Yeah both driver and passenger windows have sctatch marks, against a dark tint it looks really sh_t.
  2. Hey Buddy, I got your paper clip. I couldn't resist the urge to bend it straight. Funny actually, I put a puncher a speaker on a uhf radio then stabbed it with a pen but unfortunately in the process, i busted the pen in half I've bloddy lost my paperclip, uhf radio, uniball elite pen. It's one of those biggish ones - Would have a few things attached to it. Last time I rememeber seeing it was on a cruise or meeting with the SAU mob - Maybe someone picked it up not knowing whose it was ? Anyway, if you know where it is , please contact me - cost me like $0.00 at the time - So as you can imagine, I'm keen to get it back.
  3. [ I mean't hurting the car. Some people are that cautious, they get them towed. I my self probably would, a tow is cheaper than a blown.. but I definately wouldn't have pushed it with out getting it properly checked over. But I can completely understand the tempation! BTW how much did you pay? Forgive my ignorance if I overlooked that. Once again, nice car!
  4. yes, my arm could be twisted for one!
  5. Andrew, congrats on buying such a nice piece of machinery! I would not have flogged it my self straight from comming off the boat, it could've ended in tears! In regards to your brakes, you sure your pads aint f_cked?
  6. Ah yes, You start with: tint, rims, exhaust, kit, i/c, bov, ems, boost controller, bigger turbo etc, etc.. $$$$ Problem is once you start, very hard to stop your self. I purposely bought mine already with mods ( well at least enough to control that anoying itch for the time biegn). If you do decide to start, set your self a limit to what you want and try to stick with it! But remember if you don't mod it, you'll have that many less possible problems and think of the cash you didn't spend, you never get that back. If you are satisfied at the end of the day with your stock car, then there is your answer. Then again if you have the money to burn, why not. Personally i wouldn't have it any other way...
  7. Hey Fellas/girls, Could one of you with a spare couple of minutes please toy around with my car. Would love to see what can be done. Much appreciated! I can't add any photos to this post only a link to the gallery My photos are too big. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/photopost...00&ppuser=12730
  8. looks good. If I could I would. If I sent you a picture of my car could you give it a go?
  9. Mate, That definately sounds extremely dodgy! Have you been to any other houses in your street or area to see if they visited anyone else? If so they might have been ligit or casing out some houses??... Good luck! I Have a story of my own in regards to this and I can tell you when I was half asleep and I heard the littlest noise I was straight up and investigagting. Point been, It could just pay to be a bit paranoid for the next few days.
  10. Hey Bec, Won't be drifting (blown turbo, rooted clutch) But my mate and my self will be there watching.
  11. Roy, pm sent
  12. I have had a look through previous threads/posts in regards to upgrade for a turbo on 20det's I have come to the conclusion that standard internals are pretty strong and can take a fair hiding, but im no expert. my standard turbs blew on the w/end. My question is what is a decent turbo for replacement that is reliable for stock motor. I have been offered a gcg built 450 twin roller bearing, t4 compressor wheel and high flowed for a nice price. But to run on a safe everyday boost level i will have lag. flip side, up the boost to 14 -16 and i will tempting fate of my internals. What would you suggest? Currently have on the 32 gts-t : dump pipe 3" exhaust from cat. i/c bov elec boost controller getting brass butt clutch. Many thanks in advance 32brother.
  13. Mate I saw that on tv one night. What a pisser. Legal to have, illegal to use. But the idea of sms in-conjunction with your alarm is a bloody good idea! Will look in to further.
  14. Yeah West I got a rb2odet, I believe the lag wouldn't be too bad, but lag is still never the less, lag. Obviously im not to keen to run high boost as she is a every day driver, I mean i've got a company car but i don't want to be driving around on 14 - 18 psi when i do get in it. I know i could probably get away with doing it, but i'd be mad as hell if stuff started going bang in a few months!
  15. nice, very nice. But now I am teased.
  16. Hey Fellas, Cheers for the support. My turbs has/had done 120,000 so it was only a matter of time before she went. I bought the car just under 1 year ago, it was on 16psi when i picked it up. I droped it back to 11 low 14 high (hardly ever ran on 14) about a week later. (I have a greddy PROFEC E-01 electronic boost controller in her). Oil change every 3000 kms so I can say i took care of it. I pulled out of the servo just in a normal fashion, would have been doing 40 kms at around 3000. It sounded like someone shot a ball bearing from a slingshot on to something metal, real quick burst of sound. a few seconds later power packed up and went home and greetings smoke. It was raining that morning fairly heavy drizzle, I got home and the rear left hand side of my car (above exhaust) was dry and warm. You could have cooked a egg on my tip. It was about 15 k's from my house when happend, limped it home. I had my mate behind me following me home, and I can telll you hearing his turbo in a working order was bloody anoying. One night i went under the ring rd overpass on dalton rd and my cooler pipe blew apart at the hose clamp, that was f_cking loud! Towed it back to the mechanics and the story goes " your clamps dont last long" BS! just dont let the apprentice touch it again. Just got serviced that day. I have a 3 year warranty with my car wich will cover $500 of my turbo, but if you guys have ever delt with AVC you will understand I have a shit fight ahead. * NOT BAGGING AVC HERE, JUST AIN'T THE MOST SPEEDY PEOPLE TO WORK WITH. I've had a few items replaced through them and they have been good. Payed $900 for the cover, and it has already payed for its self. you just don't want to be in a rush.. I hope that cleared up all questions concerning my lovely saturday. So any way I am now forced to be in the market for a new clutch and turbo. Im going a brass button clutch one been priced for me but what turbo would you suggest? I have been offered a 450 twin roller bearing for a good price but my only concern with a bigger turbo is, low safe psi = lagg, high psi for perfomance = rolling a dice with my internals??
  17. Well as the title suggests my turbo spun its last spool today. Just filled up at the servo pulling out on to the road, first, second gear, clunk, smoke. As anoyed as i can be it happend on a weekend let alone a long weekend, I was on my way to cruise with a mate. They say bad things happen in three's. First my clutch is in desperate need of change (getting priced this tuesday for speedy fitting) now my turbo has eaten its asshole off. What next?? Oh well what can you do, I still love my car. Maybe I should sell it and say "never been boosted" lol. It was the standard with a dumpy. Time for a new one anyway.. I will provide pics of damaged turbs when I get the new one fitted. *Just interested to hear what other bad luck people have had within a short time of each other going wrong on thier car.

  22. Mt. dandy tourist road and G.O.rd is all ways a personal fav'. Yarra blvde is a nice run, Melbourne road from rye to sorrento, para rd greensborough and thru out eltham, diamond creek & surrounds. black spur is nice but about 3 months ago, almost got cleaned up by a truck and some f_ckwit in a patrol with a speed boat on back on my side of the road half way thru a blind corner. Missed me, no word of a lie by about 3 inches. And basically any were with a few nice corners in the wet.
  23. I would agree with the other few people, Not boosted over stock poundage..
