  1. Time to change your oil filter
  2. Dig through www.ironladyimports.com - it's aimed at Poms but it will give you a fair bit of info (then feel free to email me again via the website!)
  3. I don't care if it looks like a deep-fried turd, if it's RWD, light and cheap, they're on a winner.
  4. I've already replied to an email, yeah?
  5. ^^lol I like your attitude Next year should be Feb 24 but we can bump it a week later into March if we get in early enough. Fingers crossed it doesn't clash with Clipsal though...
  6. I like breasts as much as the next guy, but no promo girls.
  7. 1985 Yes we're more than happy to take bikes!! We need to pound some bike forums next year. The rotary motorbike was actually going to be there this year, but the owner ended up having to work and it was only a last-minute deal to get it down there. The Sh*tbox car failed to make it due to a rather interesting combo of a woeful attempt at graffiti art and a run-in with a bikie gang...more on that later... We're talking about possibly letting in a few trade stands to help cover costs, and I have some new merch in the pipeline. Would anyone be keen on an AJD Japanese parts/memorabilia swap meet? Option magazines, rare classic badges, turbos, rims, old workshop manuals etc etc etc - set up your own stand for a fee, that sort of stuff.
  8. I've been offered six figures for mine
  9. Guys if you have any suggestions for how we can improve the event for next year, post them up. One idea was to separate the classics and put them over on Colley Reserve, although we would have to really boost numbers to make it happen. Let us know what you think.
  10. Bahaha still with bonus cobwebs! It's how I roll...or you roll, in this case...
  11. Just to clarify, yes they got him. He was dropping a mate to the airport, so he was told to come back and collect his fine or his car would be impounded, which is why he obviously came back (this is the black 458 Italia - the red one with the Iron Chef sticker that parked on the reserve had nothing to do with it). See, they don't only pick on imports! Seriously we smashed it out of the park today. So many awesome cars, and I'm still amazed at the number of spectators, we surely had over 1000 people drop by. Everyone was well behaved (with a couple of small exceptions) and Neil and the guys at SAPOL did a great job of chatting to owners and settling down the pelicans driving past.
  12. Post in the Vic section mate - fingers crossed it turns up unharmed...
  13. Unofficial cruise from my place at 7am if you don't know where I live, don't ask, just be somewhere along North East Road just after 7am and listen for the rumble...
  14. The GT-X non turbo is the GT-V?? Who told you there were only 3 in Australia??
  15. *searches for an appropriate facepalm pic*
  16. On my to-do list once All Japan Day is out of the way
  17. Your oil filter needs changing
  18. The haters need to read Peter Robinson's views on the 86 in the latest Wheels magazine. He's driven more cars than I've had hot dinners, and in terms of purity of feel and experience, he rates it above the MX-5 and any current car on the market.
  19. I like this guy. With such a great title, I was expecting a thread subtitle along the lines of "just ran over a homeless guy - should I call the cops?" or "I just caught my sister in bed with my mom"...very disappointed...
  20. 1) He's buying a car that's about 10 years newer than any Legnum, chances are nothing major is going to break any time soon 2) He's buying a Nissan, so it won't be hard to get parts through Nissan Australia, unlike Mitsu Oz who really have NFI 3) Air freight from Mitsubishi NZ takes 3 days - I did it quite regularly when I owned my Galant, there are a stack of models sold in Australia where owners have to wait longer than that for parts 4) If he didn't want something rare and unusual, he could've bought a Commodore SS
  21. Snip - will update this later
  22. Yeah no aircon (just a blank switch) and a blocking panel where the stereo goes, although mine had the stereo optioned back in - only a single DIN radio (CD player not functioning!) with the two front speakers. The N1 stickers were a factory option, so rare that I'd never seen them before until Terry unearthed them!
  23. Mercury Motorsport gets my vote
