  1. lol... yes it's been a while. The bub kinda keeps me occupied! She'll be enjoying this trek up to the mountains too though.. and yes in the Skyline! Wouldn't have it any other way.
  2. lol... I've had this on my calendar since it was first posted but forgot to post and say I was coming. I'm in! Getting up in the morning is going to be a struggle but I think it'll be worth it.
  3. The latter it appears ... though I wouldn't mind taking the good ole' Corolla around for a spin Getting excited now.. can't wait!
  4. Lol.. just checked the entrants list... 2 x David Muscat's! .. on a more serious note, the supp regs say the fire extinguisher can't be more than 5 years old. Is there supposed to be a date of manufacture stamped on them somewhere? I just searched all over mine and couldn't find anything that resembled a date. Had it for a little while now but just not sure if its over 5 years... pressure is still in the green!
  5. Paid and entry faxed through! Can't wait! I missed out on the last one
  6. Hi Chris, I'm looking at some TE37's. 17x8 +33 front, 17x9 +40 on the rear. I have the standard R33 GTR wheels on it at the moment for track days. Trouble with them is that they're 9" wide and with anything more than about -1.5 to -2 degrees camber I have clearance issues on the front. They've been fine till now but I'm not going to slap semi's on them if I know I can't run more camber. As for tyres.. not sure yet but I did have RE55's in mind. How much more life are you getting out of the tyres by rotating them? 1 or 2 tracks days?
  7. Hi guys, I'm looking to purchase a new set of rims purely for track use and obviously want to put some semis on them. I just wanted to get some feedback on whether it's better to get semis that are all the same size of if going staggered (just wider on the back) is okay. I understand that if they're all the same then you get the benefit of being able to swap wheels front to back. How much extra life could you potentially get when being able to rotate them? If it's that significant I might have to rethink my choice in wheels as the ones I'm looking at are wider on the rears. Any feedback is much appreciated! Unfortunately I haven't had the luxury of running semis at track days yet so I'm really unsure as to how they're wear. Cheers, David
  8. Hi Steve, Could you PM me an estimate on the cost for shipping to Sydney? Also, what colour are the Rays/Volk stickers you have that go with them? Thanks! ** EDIT ** forgot to mention the estimate is for the wheels not the turbos!
  9. Hi Wing.... they look great. If I had the cash I'd probably snap them up! Just on a side topic, can you tell me where you got the wheels repaired (for the gutter rash)? I have a set a bronze LMGT4's I wouldn't mind fixing but I've always been worried about loosing the original colour and finish. Good luck with the sale
  10. Yep, that's all good. They told me they don't have copyright on the images. There's a note included with the CD that just asks they are mentioned if the images are posted/used anywhere.
  11. Checked the rules... all good. Here's the details if anyone else wants them.. OZ Event Photo PO Box 32 Batemans Bay NSW 2536 Ph: (02) 4478 1113 Mob: 0428 781 158 Email: [email protected]
  12. No worries, PM sent. Unless it's against forum rules to post the business details I'm happy to post them within the thread... I'll check out the rules!
  13. PM replied Andrew... let me know if you didn't get it (firefox is playing up).
  14. I never took any photos on the day so I actually bought the CD from OZ Event Photo. Just received it in the mail today and found that they include a selection of shots of all the cars in addition to hi-res ones of my own. There's quite a few so rather than attaching them all individually I've zipped them up and uploaded them as one file. Enjoy! Wakefield_Track_Day_Pics.zip
  15. ahhh dammit! Friday I've got bugger all chance of getting a weekday off so soon after my holiday. Oh well... I guess that means I don't have to fix the brakes in such a hurry!
  16. lol.... sorry about that mate! ...right after you said "let's see if we can NOT see anybody spin off the track in the first session" too!! Anyhow.. your tips were worth gold. I knocked an easy 2 seconds of my previous PB on the same shitty road tyres I ran last year. Thanks for organising a top day out. The only thing that stopped me from going out for one last session was an almost empty tank of fuel... and maybe the dead front pads. Can't wait till the next one. Hopefully I can finally get some semis on the car and knock a few more seconds off
  17. Where exactly do we drop them off if we choose that option? Thanks.
  18. I actually just completed this on my R33 and it vastly improved the idle. I also have a power FC and it didn't affect anything.
