  1. I check my nuts as soon as i wake up in the morning, you'd be suprised what could happen. :bahaha:
  2. mmmmm waste sports, has anyone got a side-on pic ? Im actually thinking of a kit for my car sometime in the next 3mths (depending on cost). Originally it would be just side skirts and a rear pod/bar but that front waste sports bar looks damn seXXy, pity its on a GTR. What does it typically cost to get a kit sprayed + installed ?
  3. I sorta hate how people think that just coz u work in "IT" you earn alot. I earn no more than the average woolworths shelf packer, infact i probably earn less (and i cant see it changing anytime soon unless i find a job in the city). The key to owning/affording a Skyline is the same with any other situation... you gotta prioritise and learn to use your money wisely. I dont drink, smoke, clubbing, live at home, no other debts beside my car etc. So that extra money i have left over goes straight into a) owning a skyline and B) modding the biatch. I'd love to get into the property market and put some decent money into that but i'd need a payrise if around 30% before i could even consider that.
  4. hah yup the initial bug does wear off alittle, thats when you flick the switch to 12psi and start the fun all over again. As someone above suggestion grab a boost gauge and just make sure everything is still the same. Or go for a ride as a passenger in someone elses GTS-T and you will realise how damn quick they still are
  5. Good stuff Jeff, i'll be there as always (as a spectator). Give the horn a toot as you drive past :uh-huh: Edit: You should team up with Buster (Brett) he had his first run last week and did a 13.3 i believe.
  6. and date the farkin threads
  7. Sounds good to me, I brought a diabetic along with me on the last cruise and she seemed to have a good time :boobies2: Edit: BATHURST BATHURST BATHURST. I wanna beat 2m 09sec
  8. Another dumb question... Does anyone know/heard of a larger M-Spec S1 GTS-T rotors?
  9. I totally agree, forget different days, just ring straight back and speak to someone else. The price can vary by $1000.
  10. haha, i read the last line first, good story and nice april fools.
  11. As i said, with a full exhaust system the engine will breath easier and wont 'slow down' as much when off the accelerator, its 1 of the first things i noticed when swapping my stock dump/front pipe to a 3" custom.
  12. I used to have a fear of putting in the bios power cables the wrong way and causing a cloud of smoke. Now i support customers just by telling them to restart their PC
  13. Just sort of a general Question. What is the -approx- price to have fitted a set of: #4963 + #908 For a '95 S1 GTS-T ?
  14. If you have this problem make sure you get a full exhaust system, deffinetly makes it a smoother ride (also better midrange power).
  15. Now you just need to drop it abit Ed.
  16. Very true i agree with that, but why let your mechanic charge you $60-$80 for an hour just to change your oils when you can do that part yourself and then just drop ur car off for the remaining things. My car hasn't been -properly- serviced in ATLEAST 15,000km, just the oils have been replaced. It doesn't miss a beat and puts out a considerably nice amount of power.
  17. Things that anyone can do themselves requiring no paid labour Engine Oil Oil Filter Fuel Filter Will cost you anything up to $100 in parts depending on brand and afew hours of fun. I changed these things for the first time ever on my Skyline without a problem at all.
  18. Did Michael the Cement Truck driver end up having lunch with you all ?
  19. I get all brake work done at "Better Brakes" in penrith along with my mum and sister) and he said they normally charge $10-20. But in the end he did it for free. Apparently tlai told me the other day that CRD were gonna charge $160 to supply/fit.
  20. Yup was a pretty cool cruise. I left home at 7:10am and didnt get home till about 6:30pm and in that time covered 536km (new record on a full tank of fuel - previous was 512km to Canberra n back). The funny thing is if i drove the exact same roads again and stuck to the speed limt i coulda easily got 590-600km. The stretch of road from Thornleigh to Woy-Woy was wicked. Full tank of fuel, 4 bodies in the car and on 7psi i was still hauling ass up the Pacific Hwy and braking was good (no fading). I think that is the hardest I have driven my car over a short period of time and it felt absolutely no different from when we left thornleigh to when we arrived at Woy-Woy. I brought some different travelling friends today (last time I do that) and they were getting mega bored whilst trying to find the Amanda's turn-off and seeing as though we weren't eating there we decided to stop off and grab some tucka before heading home. Great Cruise Tosh well done.
  21. Great guide, things are made 500% easier when you have a visual guide like this infront of you.
  22. nooo they are dropping like flies !!! oh well plenty more room for the skanks.. ....errr TNS fellas !
  23. A guy i work work (also on these forums) I believe paid $23k for his S2 '96 R33 GTS-T. Its gotta be the smickest 100% stock Skyline i have ever been in my life.
  24. Put it for $3k higher than what u think its worth or what other people say. Its easier to drop ur price by abit each fortnight than it is to talk the buyer up in price right
  25. You sure that 2nd link isn't Eric as he got outta Busters car afew weeks back ?
