Have lived in Brisy and the Gold coast for 5 years. Must say living on the Gold Coast brings alot of disadvantages such as lack of employment, lack of services such as 24 hr pharmacies, dodgy hospitals, almost non existent public transport and the amount of "Oh look at me" people that live in the area. Born in bred in Syd, I have lived in melb and larger US cities and in comparison you could hardly call Brisbane a city. Some country towns are bigger and more exciting. With every servo in Brisbane selling Syd newspapers (telegraph), it shows just how insignificant Brisy is. BTW why are the bogans in Brisy so close to the CBD?, shouldnt they be living in the sticks? Brisbane has a traffic problem? LMAO, dont think so!. Drive in Syd or Melb for a week that will change your mind. There is also the unexplained phenomena of the timing of events such as the EKKA, it sounds like a drug party. It resembles a royal easter show but in August or Riverfire which is boring as bat shit. When I walk through the CBD I see coppers trying to catch jaywalkers which is wrong in any CBD, people and traffic have only one pace.... f*#Kin slow!... that would explain why you get the traffic you so call. There are not many roads you can really enjoy without being hassled, tho MT Nebo is def one of the best. Raising kids in Brissy well QLD is not a wise decision, I'll be moving down south when the kids are ready for school. QLD education comes second last in the nation. What puts the final nail in the coffin for Brisy is NYE. Experienced it in once up here and was shithouse, f*#k all fireworks and the partying didnt go till dawn. If you want to have a big NYE go south!.

Ive been through 2 EWP motors that were both replaced through warranty. Both had water leak into the elec motor F#@king them up, it's more reliable holding down paper.

How easy is it to make a resistor pack to run low impedance injectors with an Rb25 PFC? Ive read that wiring resistors in series/parrallel in the injector loom works with GTR injectors with the Rb25 ECU. Would this work with these rochester injectors? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/1000cc-96LB-MSD-DEL...34.c0.m14.l1262

Can the PFC run 12 injectors? -
What ratios are available for a 32 gtst diff apart from the std 4.36, or do I need to look at replacing the diff itself to suit the ratio I'm after?

A massive thanks goes to BH_SLO32 for providing the basic guide. This guide got the ball rolling for what took less than a day to do, started first go. http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd81/30...pg?t=1248868491 http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd81/30...pg?t=1248868502 http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd81/30...pg?t=1248868506

1. Q45 throttle body, selling as no longer needed (was a spare). Direct fit for RB25 Greddy and copy plenums, RB25 TPS is a straight fit, No TPS included. $120 delivered anywhere in Aust. 2. RB20 Mines ECU Came out of a HCR32 (90/12~91/08), I havent contacted Mines as to what was done to it but from driving I can tell it has no speed limiter, runs leaner than std, less lag and more torque (using std turbo). $90 Delivered anywhere in Aust. Can be picked up from Southside of Brisbane (Springwood area).

Can someone tell me what the 2 sensors are for in the gearbox. I assume that one is for reverse.. which one is it?
-
I used the standard 32 GTST manual crossmember and added 55mm spacers between the body and crossmember. The gearbox mount is a 33 gtr item that has been cut up (not sure if r32 mount is the same). Basically I cut away the rubber leaving the metal plate that bolts to the box and tapped 2 holes in it. I used a rectangular piece of nolthane, drilled 2 holes in it to line up with the 2 holes in the crossmember and the 2 holes i tapped in the gtr gearbox mount. It's not running yet so i cant comment on how well it works yet. PS: the Rb20 mount doesnt come close to fitting on the GTR box pic1 pic2

I run a Nividia 7600GS (below min req) and it runs ok on the minimum resolution, had issues with rendering before updating to the latest drivers, not a prob anymore. Also have 2G ram and 3.0Ghz dual core.

Using An R32 Gtr Gearbox In A Rwd Application.
Alf replied to GKTECH's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Got mine in today, the box looks like a truck gearbox when bolted to the RB. Installing it into the car (32 GTST Rb30det) was a pain. The bottom end and box was put in first as there was no room to do so with the head on. No bashing was needed at any point and the shifter lines up with the hole as factory. The transmission crossmember is being mod'd atm more pics to come... http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd81/30...pg?t=1234614932 http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd81/30...pg?t=1234614973
