Compression plays an important part. For the street 3.7's seem to be perfect with 9:1 comp. Anyone with 4.3s must have balls of steel as in the wet traction is a joke. Comparing top speeds in 5th gear is irrelevant, like anyone would be that stoopid on the street.

Didnt NIZPRO make a few quick RB30s? They built a few 1000hp + Rb30dets years ago. There are several 7 second Rb30ET VLs, the one that comes to mind is PANIC..7.9's over 5 years ago. Rob, you'll have you hands full trying to hold the record. There's at least 2 skylines just in QLD that are looking at 6 sec territory. Would be great to watch, just like the Melb Vl workshop wars years ago.

Does anyone know if the tailshaft flange on the gearbox side of the tailshaft has the same hole spacing as a 32 GTR tailshaft flange? Thanks.

Godzilla has been making a name for itself only in the last few years, like many SE QLD jap tuners they never last the distance with the exception of SUB ZERO (Dubui). Unlike the many Syd workshops that have produced the goods for much longer.

Have you checked the plugs lately? Curious of their condition after E85.

Does anyone know what threads are used for the oil supply and water line at the block?

Looking to make up some oil and water lines for the Rb30/25, GT35R. Been looking at Earls and Speedflow fittings but not sure what size fittings and hose I'd need.

I used ARP Rb26 head studs on my 25/30. Apart from drill and tapping the block the 25 head had to be drilled out to suit the larger head studs. I used the 26 studs as they were cheaper and available at the time I built the motor.

Is it true that 90, 45 degree etc silicon bends are proned to spliting under high boost (1 bar +).
