A pump alone wont be enough when the fuel in the tank moves away from the intank pump, thats why a surge tank is needed. I'm using an 023 intank.

I'm looking to upgrade the fuel system with 2 x bosch pumps and a surge tank. To keep it legal the fuel system cant be mounted in the boot, plus id like to keep the boot space. With the limited room underneath how have people over come this problem? PS: I have a 32 GTST.

RB30 water pump is fine, if you ask one for a VL it will cost you half the price.

I'm about to make a one piece tailshaft for a 32 gtst with a gtr box (converted to rwd) and std 32 gtst diff that's making 500rwhp. The GTR flange uses 75mm OD pipe( where its welded), while the 32 diff flange uses 65mm OD pipe (where it's welded). What diameter pipe is best suited? any bigger than 3" pipe would have clearance issues. How thick does the pipe have to be for this kind of power? And whats the best method of stepping down the diameter of the pipe to suit the smaller R32 gtst diff flange? A pic explains it clearer, currently using a shortened RB20 tailshaft.

I've used 3 alloy M8 x 1.25 grub screws + sealant so the expansion rate shouldnt be a problem nor should it leak.

I had the exact same prob except mine was welded (not by myself) and leaked. I'm going to fit several grub screws as high as possible then weld over the top.

For those who have grub screwed the VVT oil gallery in a 33 25det head, what size did you use?

It has a forged bottom end with all rotating parts balanced, Rpm is limited to 7500.

I have a R33 RB25DET VVT head on a rb30 with a GT35R. At the moment it has stock cams and valve springs running @ 12 psi. At what point will the standard valve springs need to be upgraded? I intend to go +20psi What springs would you guys recommend?

I got the speedo on the pfc hand controler to work by connecting the speedo sender wiring straight to the ecu input. The speedo is out by alot tho, i used a jaycar speedo corrector but has not reduced it enough. At the moment the speedo reads double the actual speed. (Im using a 4.3 diff btw) I am about to wire in a pulse divider that will divide it by half making the jaycar kit useable. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...gtr+rwd+gearbox I run a GTR box behind a 30det in a 32 GTST without any floor or tunnel mods. The std trans crossmember can be used, its the trans mount that needs mods. You will also need a gtr tailshaft and have that mod'd to fit.
