Hi John, welcome along! we are a friendly mob. Short notice maybe, but if you (and anyone else) are free 2morrow, there is a cruise planned to Bungendore...idea is to meet up at the jerra pub carpark (my haunting ground) at 1030am for a proposed departure of 1100. maybe buy lunch@bungendore or have a bbq , not sure yet. Hopefully the weather will be kind to us! Again welcome to the forum.

spotted in vicinity of hindmarsh drive, a silver line that nearly caused 3 separate accidents this arvo, unfortunately one of those would have involved my other half, he said that this guy tried to zoom up on the left side of him to try and get in front and merge onto the monaro, thing was that he couldnt go anywhere cos there were cars in front of stuart, so he cut in behind and nearly caused accidents with an old guy and a young girl, he finally cut stu off in the landcruiser and then had the nerve to give him the finger and abuse him, he is lucky that the lights turned green at the next lot of traffic lights, cos a serious case of road rage would have happened...hope it wasnt anyone on here...he had the music thumping out and had maybe a clarion sticker on the windscreen.....gives us all a bad name

skylinegal replied to r33skylinegtst's topic in Australian Capital Territory
hi noony, welcome along! my line is in evo right now getting safc and boost controller put in, i have always taken her to evo and have no complaints about the work they do there, not to mention the good deals i get....dont know why people are complaining about them, but as i said, no complaints from me! -

ok, here is my plan so far: sunday@1030am - meet at jerra pub car park for an 1100am departure....dont know if there are any bbq facilities at bungendore, but we can either get some food at woolies near the pub and take our chances, or just rock on up and buy takeaway...i am pretty fexible, so let me know if you want to make any changes, should be a great day!

Dude in a Commo went crazy at me!
skylinegal replied to Veilside R33's topic in Australian Capital Territory
a few years ago, i was threatened by a guy with a crow bar because i reversed into a parallel car park that he thought belonged to him. i was too freaked to get out of the car(funny that)....he eventually left me alone and had left when i got back, but he had broken my aerial and slashed a tyre. on sunday, stuart turned left into a carpark at bunnings, stopped to wait for a car to reverse out of his park and the guy came flying up towards us (in the lane we were in) and stopped right in front of the ute (with a big f*** off bullbar) and wouldnt move and both him and his wife abused us!!!!!!! buggar me... there are some crazy twits out there -
what about sunday? maybe meet up at the jerra pub since it is on the way out (well a little detour), there is a fair size carpark there......as for the food, not sure really, but there would be a few places to choose from i reckon....i think DAN00H seems to know more about this..hey a pie and sauce would do me but i reckon we can do better! Also a good chance to check out my girl, as she goes into evo 2morrow to get her last lot of go fast bits put on her, wont have her for 2 days......I am SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
DANooH/08Elf: great! am thinking about 1000 -1100 am, but am flexible, I live less than 5 mins from the jerra pub, whereabouts do you live? we can work out a meeting place from there, look forward to meeting you!

I am thinking about going for a drive out to bungendore this weekend, prob sunday, have a spot of lunch and a look around, if anyone would like to join me, let me know and we can organise a time to meet up

Air Con Probs..\SPENDING MONEY
skylinegal replied to SkyGTRline's topic in Australian Capital Territory
Hi Andrew, a/c stuff i know nothing either, all mods on my girl have been done by evo, cos we bought the car from there, no complaints about their work, definately not on pricing......try new gel in fishwick for your front bar, heard they are good. Got some money to spend huh?? cant think of a better way to spend money than on mods for your car!!!! excellent stuff! -
Jayce, yeah i finally saw you flashing at me and worked out who it was!!! i was in a happy place and singing merrily to my fave song , the sun was out and it really was a beautiful day!. I have seen a few lines out and about and all in the jerra/queanbeyan/fishwick area, gunmetal grey, silver, white, but by the time i realise, it is too late to work out anything else! hahahahahahaha, mind you all were driven by good looking guys, must go with these hot cars we drive!!! hahahahahaha
-
Andrew: all up it cost $2,500 (incl gst)
-
Aurora: makes a huge difference, we had a hybrid high flow turbo installed, went from 214 to 252@rw, can safely handle 18psi, but to get anymore power (or more boost), i have to get an air fuel controller and boost controller, initial estimates from evo reckon aprrox 300@rw is achieveable , i dunno about that, but am keen to see what we will get,,,,,i love the sound of the turbo, screams pretty beautiful to me!!!! hahahahahaha
-
Hi there, yeah welcome to the forum, and there is no such thing a stupid question!!!! look forward to seeing you around the traps

quakin: the obvious advantage from buying from a dealership is that you have room to negotiate a better deal, and of course, peace of mind with a warranty. I bought my gtst(r33 s2) from evo and found them to be upfront about their cars and also dont try the hard sell (after all these cars do sell themselves!) We ended up with getting 2 grands worth of tyres and mags as part of the deal, and a 12 mth warranty. They also sold the car we had on a commission basis (it was a hyundai fx coupe with a little bit of work done to it) They ended up taking about 2 grand as their cut, due to a few things that went wrong with it whilst in the yard (mechanical crap that was bound to happen anyway) Depending on the cars you have, it may be possible to cut a similar deal, but dont quote me on that. All our servicing and mods have been done by evo and they have definately looked ater us in terms of pricing. I know a lot of people say to stay away from evo, but I have no major complaints, and in the end, you dont have to get the go fast bits put onto your skyline by them. Hope this helps, and it is worth the effort to own one of these stunning 'lines. talk to Chris at evo, he is great value, also a young guy named John works there on saurdays, he is passionate about the cars they have. Good luck., skylinegal.
