having used both optimax and ultimate, I only use ultimate @ manaka/kingston, my girl doesnt splutter or ping as much. So now she gets filled up normal unleaded and put a syringe of lead replacement fluid with every 50 litres of fuel, costs about $3.00 per syringe.

just to add my two cents worth, I have found that when I am drivin' the old v8 ute, other drivers treat me differently than when I am in my gtst. I havent come across any of the abuse that i have read about on this forum, but i guess it is only a matter of time. Yeah sure i get the ones who want to have a go at the lights (yes, mainly commodres and fords, with the occasional little buzz box as well - which cracks me up no end!) Sometimes I can wipe the smile off their faces, but most of the time I couldnt be bothered. I am not sure what I would do if I copped a heap of serious abuse, but I am sure not going to follow whytry's theory,(and I can understand why you would, but lets face it, me taking on a couple of 'bogans' is just a bit silly, mind you if I did get out of my car, I reckon it would stop them in their tracks from laughin' at me!!!!) Whytry: mate, your theory sounds fine, except for the fact that you will go for a ride with the boys in blue for assault, and thats not cool, so if ya get into that situation, ya better make a good job on the bogans to make it worth the pain you will endure from the cops. Thats enuff from me, so I will be quiet for now.

whoo hoo......picking up my girl from evo this arvo, turn out the turbo fan didnt like its position and decised to break loose and explore its surroundings. bottom line is that a new turbo has been installed (luckily still under warranty...phew) Jayce wasnt too far wrong about drowning my sorrows!! (well also the ute died and had to be towed also!! buggar! oh but she passed the cop check, RTA will issue a new chassis nbr) photoshootII?? cant wait!

trident: evo installed the hiflo (new hybrid t04) only 4 mths old, so should be covered under warranty (well fingers crossed!) evo have organised for a tow truck to nurse her back to them, dont understand the bb conversion, but it was a complete new turbo so just had to have the usual fuel gadet upgrades and custom dump pipe... Amaru: Good stuff!!!!!

yep, the hiflo (cant work out the GCG bit Trident!) yeah, and at ulladulla, still dirveable but not good when the torque is pushing it, so she stays there cos she cant make it over the clyde mountain.....and I was so so happy.....yeah Amaru,,,,,a cloud always has a silver lining....I jus cant see it yet! cheers mate

I know this isnt for the spotted thread, but my turbo kinda died today, needless to say I am most upset, please spare me a thought to help make the pain go away.....not a good way to end the week.

i wont be going anywhere for a bit, turbo has just failed, on the coast of all places......i think i am allowed to cry now

sxygtst: yeah, got it from a car dealership Fyshwick (ok i guess that answers that then!) Apparantly the cops (if they are satisfied the car isnt stolen) can issue me with another chassis nbr (which i then have to get stamped on the chassis) I rang the car yard, and his response was that he had better get the paperwork ready! hmmmmm, dodgy bros i reckon......*sigh*...fingers crossed, oh and then i have to get the motor back to stock std as well...the least of my probs!hahaha

spotted white Series2(i think) on lanyon drive this arvo at about 1015, going towards queanbeyan on the jerra roundabout. Also spotted myself nearly in tears when told the I have to take the ute in to the cops for a check, as the compliance plate is incorrect, and the chassis appears to have been replaced, and the nbr has not been officially stamped on it.......oh the stress of it all...and I thought it would have been a simple thing to change the rego over!!!!
