  1. You are confused because your maths is wrong, 1 nanosecond is 1 billionth of a second, or 1 x 10^-9 (0.000000001) 1 microsecond is 1 millionth of a second, or 1 x 10^-6 (0.000001) 1 millisecond is 1 thousandth of a second, or 1 x 10^-3 (0.001)
  2. Looks nice mate, well done
  3. *Bump* $19,500 Just paid 6 months rego Sorry 15k is too low - the engine conversion alone cost me more than that.
  4. Hi All I have decided to put my car up for sale. 5. I've done it into an R32 GTS4 if that helps any? Swapped the motor and gearboxes over and left the GTS4 diffs in place ... has 408rwhp atm and in RWD mode is a bit of a handful I think in the end it cost me around the 15k mark but I did a few things like single turbo conversion and PowerFC etc. Good luck with it though - its a shit load of fun as you'll find out
  6. I brought the time slip and dyno chart to work today so that I can scan and post. Unfortunately I can only scan into a pdf format so by the time I've cut and paste etc it's in black and white. Once I get a bit of time later after the morning madness period I'll try and post them up. Once you see the dyno chart then perhaps you could tell me if I am right or wrong in suggesting that the car could be quicker if changed at 7,000 - 7,250rpm rather than 8 or 8.2k like we were experimenting with But yeah car was run in full street trim
  7. Cheers for the replies guys - I think I'll have to go and get some new tyres before going down again And yeah as Cerbera says - more practice needed Good to know though that it could be capable of more though!
  8. Hi guys Took the car down to the Motorplex to see how she'd run. It's an R32 GTS4 with an RB26 transplant and a plain bearing GT35 running 18psi. The car makes 408rwhp @ 7,250rpm I probably should have checked the graph before I left as we were changing gears anywhere between 8,000 and 8,500rpm. So anyway, the best run was: Elapsed Time: 11.995s Terminal Speed: 118.11mph (190.07kph) 60' : 1.953s 330': 5.165s 660': 7.804s 660'speed: 151.57kph 1000': 10.078s I did have previous 60' times of 1.7 so I guess I should have been able to shave a bit off that run above. It was still wheelspinning and torque steering a lot though. So yeah, basically what I'm wondering is can I expect any better out of the car or is that about it? Cheers!
  9. R32 GTS4 ET: 11.995 MPH: 118.11 60': 1.953 Tyres: Kumho Ecsta 712 Timeslip scan on the way
  10. Ahh ok, thanks very much Matt. I'll see if I can get someone to unlock it. Thanks for the reply!
  11. I've bought three cars through Phil and each car has been excellent - arrived quickly, easily and as described Can thoroughly recommend him
  12. Hi guys Just wondering if any of you have heard of this problem before. Today when my car went on the dyno to get tuned, they couldnt do anything because the hand controller displayed a whole bunch of zeros. Even though it was idling, revs were zero, timing zero. Everything. If the tuner changes any values, everything is set back to zero once the car is turned off. Background info: Car is an R32 Gts4 with an RB26 conversion that I'm just finishing up. The Power FC i bought from someone on this forum, and the hand controller was borrowed from a workshop in Perth. From memory the PowerFC version was 4.something and the hand controller version was 3.8 or something like that. I did a search and found that the reset thing is not unheard of, and someone else suggested that in engine swaps the relay for the ECCS is wrong/faulty (I dont understand that and I couldnt find the thread again to re-read it). Can anyone shed some light on what might be wrong? Perhaps I will have to borrow someone else's handcontroller? I don't mind buying one but I need to find out what the prob is first. Any help much appreciated, James.
  13. Farken....PSIKO and I can't go due to being unable to get our cars into the workshop to be finished off. I'll probably still come down to watch, and since it's such late notice I'm willing to pay our entrance fees as I know you guy had to make a certain number to keep it viable Sorry guys
  14. Looks hot! Love the bonnet
  15. Just come anyway
  16. are they the 260deg in/ex pete?
  17. myself and PSIKO are definite participants now
  18. That's not cool at all! Sorry to hear
  19. Sorry, I took it off the market
  20. I liked a question that Beer Baron posed in the RB26 Turbo Choice thread, and would like to know the answers myself, so I thought I'd quote it here for discussion:
  21. You can use externally venting bovs with Power FC's though can't you?
  22. Yikes! Good luck!
