    Yup, don't think you can get vortex 98 here I worked at Caltex when I was at uni and they definitely didn't have it then. That was only 3 years ago that I left Caltex and I haven't seen it since.

    Hmm I've known a few people with AVCRs and even though they look nice, they've all had dramas. Not holding boost, too tricky to use etc etc. One of them switched to a Greddy Profec B Spec II and said it was awesome. Controlled boost a lot better. But I do admit the AVCRs look sweet

    I've seen 19s sit in the guards of an R32 gtst easily No problems at all, so I wouldnt worry too much about that

    Yeah I got a GFB Mach 1 when I first got my car. Was cool for a couple of weeks because it was my first turbo car but then I got sick of it and sold it. Then about a year later I thought yeah I wouldnt mind one again so I got a Greddy Type S. Again, fun for about a week before I got sick of explaining to passengers what the stupid sound was eminating from the engine bay

    If you're worried about the motor could you not do a leak down / compression test? Might put your mind at ease a bit ....
