thats an R33 and looks like steel to me.. just grab an s1.. they're much easier & cheaper to find than R34 turbos.. Otherwise you may be able to get a 2nd hand high-flow for the price you are looking... good for well over 200rwkw..

Click "menu" up the top nav.. then click gallery.. click "my gallery" and you should be able to "upload photos". This will allow you to upload any sized photos. Once they're uploaded (fairly straight forward).. if you go visit the photo, and view the fullsize version, below that it will show the VBB code to insert it into any post. Just paste that into a post, and you will be fine.

well i think its cheaper to do yourself, but soon as you add labour into it for somebody else to do it, goodbye budget.. :wavey: If you are lucky, and track down them yourself, you will get all the parts required for around $1000 (thats about what its going to cost me).. Then just labour, which may be another $1000. $2k should cover it.

15 year rule is exactly that.. Cars 15 years or earlier may be imported and require an engineers rather than a full compliance system (SEVS) which is for vehicles that are newer than 15 years old. Its still in place, even though many haved predicted it would be abolished nearly every month for the last 6 months So now its 2005, 1990 cars are eligible, for every month that comes up. E.g. a Feburary 1990 car can be imported from February this year. Of course earlier cars (all of 1989) can be imported under this rule.

yeah, its crazy that more people aren't talking about this on here.. The R34 has been resurrected!! Even if it is only a very limited NISMO run.. still its the opportunity to have a NEW R34.. and boy what a car it is.. 2.8L, full race built engine.. $200,000 .. bargain (if you have money that is)

yeah, that would be classified as "fairly minor" for rust in my book.. can easily be cured and coated.. What you would have to watch out for if its seeped up to the floorpan, as that can be trickier to fix. What is that back towards the cat converter on the floor there - that looks like more rust? Do you have photos of that? The main one is the chasis rails (they are not what you are referring there - those are just the sills..) which are about average for that age, with the usual misplaced jacking and things - they look fairly straight. Not sure whether the rear of the LHS rail (2nd photo) is meant to be like that, looks a bit bent in, although its hard to tell from that shot. otherwise seems like a good price for those levels of modifications.. if you add the price of a GT2530 turbo kit and a few other things, there is a few $k just there.
