  1. nice.. you may notice a white r31 for a second there.. you may note that the reason it appeared to be going so slow is that the driver was fumbling for the NOS button at that particular point
  2. err.. ok For $2k there is a hell of a lot of other things that can make your car stand out "from the crowd".. or even better blend in.. like a big 400hp turbo.. To me pp are just something for the cops to remember your car distinctly for.. they decide they don't like you.. easy pickings from then on - as they know exactly what your car has under the bonnet. anyhow, each to their own! p.s. in vic full pp are about $300 "for life" too.. not just the "lets get a few numbers that might look like letters" thingo either. Up here they are a rip.. most expensive in the entire country..
  3. i even have proof... look:
  4. come on..we all know I invented modern film photography way back in 1888.. here is some of my earliest creations..
  5. pft: been out for ages.. I've even got one in my driveway right now.. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/photopost...1332new_gtr.jpg
  6. back up forsale.. guy who was going to buy it has disappeared..
  7. um.. me too.. spot a common theme.. lol
  8. mate, never be too paranoid.. if you have that many people that know about it, some crim or too might be amongst them.. and seeing as u live in tha ghetto (dingley right?) I'd be a bit careful. Happens all the time, people come look at cars, then knock them a week or so later, or word gets passed around to the wrong people.
  9. This is probably a silly question, but can I get away with slightly wider *diameter* (not width) tyres on the back? I have 205/60R15's on the front on my old R31, and I have a 'give away' price on some 205/65R15's.. On my calculations that would make the rears 2cm larger rolling diameter. Would this totally stuff up my steering geometry and handling ? I have a feeling its not a good idea, but I really just need to put these on to pass a RWC so I can sell the car..
  10. lol: i told that guy selling the 31 wagon to advertise on it here.. now somebody buy it so he can buy my old car.. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=61158
  11. that's a good price then looks nice and slick.. reckon the 400R kit for the R33 is the best one.
  12. was that price above the supply of the kit as well? or just the painting and fitting part?
  13. For that price you would want an absolutely flawless job.. I had the whole side of my car sprayed for $800.. front bar for $400.. front guard: $300 .. etc.. and these were pro panel shops about the place (only one was in QLD)/.

  15. fair trading report...
  16. .. i didn't believe in having a nice car till i was over 25 mainly because of the insurance..
  17. nah.. its all same .. i put it right next to it.. I should have taken a photo but I was lazy. If you are still unconvinced you can borrow my spare one and compare them side by side yourself. I knew RB20 and RB26 exhaust side was same, was never sure whether it went far back as RB30's. This was a non-turbo SOHC head btw, it's possible on a VLT head its different (the stock cam is slightly different on them between n/a and turbz)
  18. .. although I really don't know whether I should be helping out VL owners .. who should have bought a *skyline* (I feel dirty and violated) yes.. exactly same thickness.. teeth pattern and bolt holes.. couldn't be closer match.. 10 years, one camgear design - i like it. you should have no problems with the adjustable.. (now I'm going to have to wash my dirty hands )
  19. i got my old stock R33 one sitting around.. obviously its the same size as an adjustable one I also have an RB30 head sitting about I could check this on.. give me a few mins..
  20. he's talking 2005 num nutz.. he just doesn't know it Yeah.. "edit signature" broken.. was operational the other day..
  21. From a dealer?? :bs!: maybe non-complied.. and even that is pushing it. From a dealer the usual price is around $15k.. lowest you'll find one worth buying privately will be $12k. Daler32: you got a good price on yours - was it a recent sale?.. I've seen a few stickered R32 at close to around $20k up here..
  22. um i would sign blindly, but my mother told me always to read something before signing.. WTF is it? !
  23. Actually, I have been searching around and have found this new article highlighting the next GT-R which was just published the other day. Contains a very new photograph which I don't think I have seen before. Notice the agressive coupe styling of the rear, and the low coefficient of drag. It says that apparently Nissan has had to work with a tight budget on the GT-R with the tight hand of Carlos Ghosn, so have unfortunately had to make some sacrifices along the way to meet fiscal targets. Personally, I think its a rather controversial move... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/photopost...1332new_gtr.jpg . .
