Hello all. Just thought I'd let you know I'm the proud new owner of RBNTs RS260. He will be putting it on a truck for me early next week and hopefully should be in my driveway in a few weeks. I used to own a black RS4V which I traded for a 20B Cosmo and the guy I traded with then sold to Stageagirl Im pretty sure. And I think she has since passed it on. I see theres a WA cruise coming up. Hopefully she'll be here in time for that.

Only time I used it was when I took it down the quarter. Not that I needed to. Tyre slip was never gonna be an issue.

Mine used to do that too. But only if I was in 50:50 mode. And only when I turned sharply slowly. I dunno why but for some reason I thought it was normal. Maybe someone told me it was. It was a few years ago so I cant really remember.

The fact they are all the same colour would make me think it could be for an alarm system too. The high quality systems have all black wiring so thieves can't work out what wire does what. Maybe this is the same only red. Once its all hooked up to the ECU and working you pull the red stickers off and noone will have any idea what goes where. Or maybe I'm totally wrong.

Do they have GST in Japan?

Dont you need to pump the brake five times after you disconnect the plug? This causes the 4WD light to flash and tells you youre in 2WD mode. Or am I thinking of something else?

Mine does and the RSM I installed didnt get rid of it like I hoped it would.

Its fixed. It was the old "just because theres 12V between this wire and your battery wire doesnt mean its a ground wire" trick. I screwed my ground wires coming from my stereo to the chassis and it fixed it.

Ive been thinking about it and I think I may know what Ive done wrong. Ill try fix it tomorrow and let you know.

I have an update. I found the fuse under the bonnet that was blown. The tail light fuse. Replaced it and they keep blowing. I unplugged the stereo and it still blew. I cant understand how changing my headunit can cause the tail light fuse to keep blowing. Anyone have any ideas? I hate things like this. Thanks guys. Zane.

Hello all. I just put a new head unit in the wagon the other day. I thought it had all gone well but that night I turned my headlights on the dash lights and the ones on the gear selector didnt come on. What the deuce? I thought I may have pulled a plug accidentally but I couldnt find any that werent already in. Then I thought must be a fuse. But I checked all the ones behind the coin holder but couldnt find a blown one. Which fuse feeds the dash lights? I couldnt read the descriptions on the coin holder as its all in Japanese. Has anyone else came acros this problem. Any help or advice would be great. Thanks guys. Zane.

Doesnt matter I worked it out. Its abit of a cruddy setup. I certainly wouldnt call it user friendly but once you know how to do it its not too bad.

Hey all. I just installed the IVA D300 in my car today and have my Ipod running throughit via a KCA-420i. My question is this: How the freak do you browse through the artists and find an album then find a song? I only played around with it for a bit but stuffed if I could do it. It was playing the songs and showing the title but I couldnt get a list of the artists to come up. At one stage I had a list of the albums but Id rather search using the artists name. I thought maybe someone had a similar setup that could help me. Thanks guys. Zane.
