  2. the other night i was driving with a mate, i was doing around 70/60, it was the street leading up to kk's in mascot so it was dead. copper comes the other way, sees me and does a u-turn,when i saw this i thought i might as well pull over and save them the hassle of turning their lights on. they kind've freaked out because i had my license ready to give them as they hesitated to come to my window, they kind've stood back a bit, they asked me the usual 'how fast were you going?' line, and i gave back the usual 'i was doing the speed limit' response. breath tested me and off i was. did they expect me to tell them i was speeding? seriously?
  3. i think it looks good. the front end of a mustang would look good on any car.
  4. a single gtr turbo will produce less power than a standard gtst turbo.
  5. i came across this site that is emanage dedicated. its fairly young (2yrs) and has 1 dude answering questions but im sure as the emanage picks up it will be a huge site in years to come. http://www.emanageforums.com/forums/index.php i think trent is a member there too.
  6. nah they were out in force between 5-6, so pretty much just before it started. i didnt see any on the way home. my last run was just after the burnouts so i left at around 9:45.
  7. yeah there were HEAPS of cops out that night but i drive like a granny most of the times so it was all good for me. there was that..... and someone who high beemed me on my way into WSID to warn me of coppers ahead.

  10. yeah thats what ive done. the remap on my car has made the new fuel cut at around 7700rpm, i used the ignition cut feature to make it come in at 7300 but im not happy with how it comes on i might need to make it -20 as its now at -10. -20 makes it backfire a bit and im just not sure if its safe for it to be taking that much timing away at that high of a rev. i just need to figure out the other settings to make it work properly.
  11. ok im kind've understanding it now. i didnt know that the V.S was the vehicle speed input. i might read up on it a little more, maybe ill figure out how to set it up properly. this is the settings box:

  15. i might be moving to dubai for work after i finish my degree and builders license comes through, so this is good to know. how is the performance scene over there? ive seen the vids of them crazy drifters etc, but is there a real track (besides that big one theyre building), like a drag strip, workshops, etc?
  16. does anyone know how to use the ignition cut as a launch controller? i can only get it to work as a rev limiter.

  18. the EPA are the ones who control littering. the fines come from them. i throw my ciggies out the window if my bro or mate is driving their convertibles behind me. its pretty funny, ill record it next time.
  19. coppers will always be coppers, hoons will always be hoons. its the way of life. they were never meant to get along. using a lotus on patrols does nothing, cause everyone (including myself) who has pulled up next to it has thought "i could SO beat that", not "oh wow, these cops REALLY cool... lezbefriendz?" i dont care if theyre in a freaking ferrari, if a copper is pulling me over they are not my friend. want a way to break the ice? offload the lotus, and next time you pull one of us over, buy us a coffee instead.
  20. you need to use your brain for this one, make sure the breaker bar is levering on the correct side of the motor (resting on the ground on the exhaust side of the harmonic balancer). i heard of an apprentice using the wrong side as a lever. the breaker bar swing right around the motor and took out the power steering pump as well as bent the breaker. at least the bolt came loose.
  21. i'd go for the GTiR. theyre called a mini godzilla around here for a reason. everything is cheaper by 1/4. and stock vs. stock the GTiR could put up a very good fight, and with the right driver it could defiantly have a chance. throw in 5k and you'll have it doing 12's. and thats all you'd need to do to it. throw the 5k at the gtr and it'll probably spin a bearing in return.
  22. i ride my mates 80cc monster a few times. ive been looking for a cheap dirt bike i can ride around. should have something decent in a few weeks
