  1. Thanks mike, I'll keep it in mind and let ya know via PM when I attempt fixing it I've got assignment due for my Masters next Wednesday so it won't be this weekend.
  2. ^ Alan Howe is a top guy with EXCELLENT prices! Definately recommend him for any printing services (& professional photography if wanted). He not only did our wedding photography, but I went to see him about canvas print of my dad's XYGTHO and he is bar far the best service and cheapest price in Adelaide. /end shameless plugging LOL
  3. Well I'll be giving it a shot to fix in the next couple of weeks. My intention is to glass it up myself, and then possibly get crash shop to touch up re-spray. OR does anyone know where you can get pressure packs made up (in QM1 white)??
  4. Hi all, had a lapse in concentration the other night and didnt take a steep driveway at an angle and below is the result. Does anyknow know if this will be fixable DIY? I havent done any fibreglassing before, but am willing to give it a shot! if people think its worth while i'll give it a go, or am I up for a new bar? Thanks! Some pics of the damage Anyone know if this can be fixed?
  5. Some pics of the damage Anyone know if this can be fixed?
  6. As the title suggests, is there anyone in Adelaide how has done a DIY fix on their front bar? The other night I took out one of the mount points on my front bar on a rather shocking driveway. I had a laps in concentration, forgot to take it on the angle and heard crunch! Now, one of the front mounting points has been broken clean off so will need what I think may be some fairly serious glassing... Has anyone done it that would like to give me a hand? Live south, and 6 pack would be gladly supplied to someone with experience willing to show me how/help me out. Cheers Lee (PS still dont know how i'll even get the front bar off!! LOL)
  7. Well, shit bum crap front bar met an ugly/untimely end on Clapham primary school driveway this afternoon probably could fix it but will instead look for something more my taste. Anyone have a GTR style bar or even Type M?? PLEASE??
  8. No longer needed
  9. Thanks, will double check the sizes tonight and PM you my order. I dont mind if there is a small wait while you change suppliers as im in no hurry, and a saving is always good! Just had some inspiration from a work-mate. While getting a coffee (in my Falcon GT mug) he told me I now need to get a "datsun" mug (he is always giving me shit the skyline's a datsun). Anyway, what would peoples thoughts be on a SAU mug? No idea what it would cost, but i'm willing to look into it if others want?
  10. Withdrawn from sale
  11. Hey Patrick, Can you still get the button shirts, or is there a minimum order? Looking at one with the SAU logos front rear (no username) Cheers Lee
  12. Some nice shots there Cara/fishy! Like the Big W shot cara! LOL What camera's are you guys using?
  13. Steve: I was trying to think of somehwere where parking was a bit more secure than most pubs etc, but Pizza house would definately be a good starting point. Evil: For a constitution, do you have a copy of the SVD club constitution? I have a copy of the Falcon GT Club's constitution which could be adapted to suit SAU-SA if need be, but one already relating to nissans would require less work I would imagine. And unfortunately people keeping up membership and attending is always an issue. In the Falcon GT club we average 170-190 members per year, but generally are lucky to see more than 20-30 cars at events, and 30-40 people at meetings
  14. Actually, as another thought. Shannons have rooms they let out to clubs for meetings, and they are located on South Rd just near the cross road overpass. The avoca hotel is just up the road for a meal before hand... Would be a good central spot for meetings I reckon. Parking right out the front of the venue to so can keep an eye on the cars during the meeting (I would imagine) 863-865 South Road, Clarence Gardens SA 5039 Trading Hours 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday Call 13 46 46 - 7 days a week, 24 hours a day
  15. Just checked out the CAMS website, and depends on how many members we have: 1-40 members, $264 pa 41-100 members, $462 pa 100-200 members, $660 pa So I would suggest we would probably on have around 20 paying members for a start. That would make it $13.20 per member. Found it on this form here: http://cams.com.au/downloads/paperforms/A-101.pdf So I would think when establishing membership cost, want to keep it competitive to the cheapest CAMS affilliated club which is v-max at $35 per year (i think). So would have to look into the cost of meeting venue hire (monthly meetings), club account establishment, merchandise establishment.. I would think a fee of $30-35 per person per year would be do-able
  16. Never actually used them, but have had pleasant experiences when getting quotes etc. with Action Suspension at Edwardstown. Seem like they know thier stuff VERY well, and do a lot of suspension work for insurance companies/crash repairers etc. May be another option?
  17. More than happy to contribute $$ too cubes, but what sort of $$ would we be looking at (while keeping CAMS affilliated), any ideas? I see WA is $25 per annum, but are they CAMS affilliated? Also, I would be happy for October 27 to be the first club track outing. Clutch will be done by then (finally) so would be keen to head out for sure!
  18. Sounds great to me! I would be more inclined to get my backside into gear to get the car track ready if I knew there were set SAU days for motorkana etc. I would be happy to help out where I can, but wouldn't commit to being on the committee. I have been a member of another car club for 10 years now, and due for a break from committee duties (7/10 years).
  19. I can get the 8mbps I think but to hell with paying $65+ for internet I dont use much.
  20. Well thats what I thought too, but Adam got me connected ADSL1, but not 2?! go figure :S
  21. Unfortunately NO. our house is on a RIM service, ie. it's multiplexed at our suburb before being taken back to the main exchange. This doesnt allow ADSL2+ unfortunatley, but we CAN get ADSL1 (which is something). I was hoping to can home line rental ($25 per month) and land line ADSL ($40pm for same speed, $65 total) and just pay for wireless at $30 per month, to save some money. BUT looks like the internet gods have said no LOL.
  22. Well, I tried my wireless here at work today (city, east side) and speeds are 800kbps and a download speed of ~70kbps.. Seems the reception is just rat shit at my house So looks like I need to keep paying for line rental and ADSL1
  23. Mine is missing completely, has been since I bought the car. Dont like having a hole in the dash
  24. Quite possibly as I drove the 33 to work that day.
  25. Spotted a white 32 on Education rd this afternoon with Black wheels. Also spotted R33PER at Southgate plaza. Looked shit hot mate
