The Club Motovate idea sounds really good, pity it's down in Mandurah though, but certainly will be interesting to see how the idea works out for them

No worries, PM to you soon.

I don't think Brad's suggestion is something to try and rival MV, but a way to get lots of Skylines and other imports to one spot so people can checkout each others rides. Could possibly be combined with some other clubs, but details are still being worked out.

I guess it's all about what you're into, just cause it's not my cup of tea doesn't mean SAUWA wouldn't support our members from having a Club Entry. I like MotorVation, have entered 3 times, and spectated numerous others, so I'm not interested in going again, but doesn't stop us putting in a club entry if there is the interest As I said we'll happily support any events our members are interested in, but no point whinging we weren't there after the fact (Not directed at Bubba)

Can't speak for PowerCruise, but MotorVation is more like a traffic jam than a driving event. I love driving events, but get alot more track time at RAC Driver Training and Wanneroo for the cost.

You're a dick, and obviously don't know what you're talking about. Didn't see you at the driver training on Saturday, or your name down for the one in November ? Oh, that would involve driving

Well if SAUWA Cub was to bother putting any money into it, then yes they'd have to be SAUWA Members, if you just want a group of SAU Skylines then no they wouldn't have to be. The criteria for entry is fairly hard these days, as they have more entries than spots available, so there is a reasonable chance you wont get selected.
  9. Yeah, I wasn't trying to put you off asking, but ECU choice alone: PowerFC, Haltech, Motec, NisTune, Vipec, Wolf, Emanage, and so on, let alone when you throw tuners into the equation. Most of the workshops listed in the thread will easily handle a turbo conversion, some I would use, some I wouldn't, but listing them publically always leads to fights. Feel free to PM a few people who's opinions you trust and ask them, that will cut out much of the rubbish

Feel free to do an EOI thread for Motorvation 2010, usually you get alot of enthusiastic people, but none who have there car ready etc. If there are 6+ Members who are definates then the SAUWA club will assist in helping to organise some things.

As I said, I've entered a couple times before, and it is a good event which I attend most years, but without sufficient interest, 6+cars, then it's not worth it as a club entry.

Pretty sure it's too late of MotorVation Entries. I've been a couple times, but never sufficient interest for a club entry, I guess there just aren't enough bogans driving Skylines
  13. Hi Martin, You'll get flooded with people suggesting one workshop or another, at the end of the day call some people from this thread, have a chat to them, visit them, and choose someone you feel comfortable with. Opinions are like arseholes, everyones got one http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Co...hr-t191756.html Cheers Paul

Are you even a SAUWA Member ? There wasn't sufficient interest to do a club entry, same as Motorvation, so that's why we didn't do anything. If enough members want to do it, we'll support the event as a club.
  16. Will be interesting to hear about it's first full-power run at the Plex, so keep us informed. It will take a fair bit to keep up with the guys over east, but I wish him all the best. Not a fan of the paintjob either.

Read post #4, there was never any plan to be there.
  18. Can't say I've ever heard of them, but give them a go and let us know your thoughts
  19. Legally I believe you can only go 1" wider over stock, so that would mean 8" rims, but you can fit up to 9" under there with the right offsets etc.
  20. Yeah, we need spanner monkeys and spark monkeys to make it all work, we just get paid to come up with ideas that can never work in practice
  21. Have you actually tried getting them direct from Nissan ?
  22. You also posted in the wrong section, you should have used the Wanted to Buy area Double fail
  23. I don't think you can group all Immigrants as Illegals/Asylum seekers, the vast majority have moved here under normal immigration rules. Not that I don't think we shouldn't tighten the immigration rules a bit, with Oz just clocking over 22million people we ought to think about population control.
  24. The graduates here at work are doing the CPEng as part of there Graduate Program, so if you need to know anything then let us know
  25. I never understand why there is a need for yet another forum, when they could just use the Classic section of SAU. When does my R33 get considered as classic, it's getting old now
